Watching this insane vid done by KIX (amazing stuff Ion and Jess!!!) gave me goosebumps and made me vow to go for both days next year. I feel like i missed out on ASOT now!! -_-
I can’t imagine how much footage you guys had to go through… seriously crazy! But this vid… really establishes Malaysia on the global party map.
Love the vid.
Love being reminded of the acts that were here.
Love the vibe that everyone who went projected.
Love that Livescape put their souls (lives?) on the line to pull this off! (Peeps did look like they were about to collapse)
For almost a decade, Montblanc has been supporting UNICEF’s efforts to heighten the level of education and literacy amongst children across Africa and Asia, and have raised USD5 million to date. Watch the vid below on the journey of Montblanc International CEO Lutz Bethge and actress Hilary Swank, as they visit Ethiopia to see how UNICEF changes the lives of the children there:
To raise money this year, Montblanc has launched the 2013 “Signature For Good” collection. The special edition of writing instruments, jewelry and leather accessories all feature a unique brick design that symbolizes building a better future for all children, from improving quality of eduction to the construction of schools – brick by brick.
Part of proceeds from every “Signature for Good” item sold from now till end of March 2014 will go to UNICEF’s education programmes throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America.
The design of Meisterstück is revisited in the instruments of the Classique Fountain Pen, Rollerball, and Ballpoint Pen. A cap top ring designed with the symbolic brick patterns are teamed atop the black precious resin. The blue sapphire you see on the top ring is inspired by UNICEF’s colour.
I was in 1 Utama to drop by the Pringles booth and get some baby shower stuff one Saturday,
when i saw something that was so awesome, i’ve been telling all my friends about it!
Pringles set up a giant bowling game for everyone to participate,
and if anyone managed to knock down one pin, they’d get a free Pringles.
I saw two guys in wheelchairs queueing up for the game,
and thought, “How great! I hope they get their Pringles!”
Everyone was cheering extra loud when they went up, and it was so endearing to watch.
Sometimes we forget about how lucky we are to have all our limbs and to see and hear…
imagine how much more difficult life must be if you’re missing something everyone else has!?
Bowling a giant ball wasn’t easy tho (i tried it too),
and when the second guy couldn’t get any pins knocked down,
the Pringles mascot snuck up next to the giant pins, KICKED one down and ran away!
Everyone was laughing and so happy the guy got his free Pringles!
Well. We all know Zara has always been in KLCC (along with every other major shopping mall in KL) but what i mean is the new concept store they’ve created. If you’ve noticed, their Paradigm and Sunway Pyramid outlets all look like this now – minimalist and clean.
I was invited to preview the KLCC store last Thursday night before they opened to the public on Friday, and of course i said yes! Even though i wasn’t allowed to buy anything yet (damn) at least i got a good look up close at all the new season’s pieces, and managed to strategize my shopping when i went by again a few days later. 😀
The storefront was still boarded up when i entered, excited much!? I was one of the few media at the time being given a tour by the Zara staff who flew in from different cities in South East Asia. Was trying to absorb all they said but really, i just wanted to heap all the clothes i fancied into my arms and run off to the changing room.
Printed pants. An obsession of mine. I have a STACK of pants because i think they’re imperative for various moods and occasions… I’m so glad i don’t have a corporate job where i can only wear basic tones of pants. That’d be so sad!
NEW ZARA THINGS.
ALL ARRANGED NICELY.
AND JUST ME STANDING THERE.
Oh be still heart of mine!
I’ve already reserved the white cropped cape top. Couldn’t resist how it can go with anything!
The loose red pants below it are killer too.
As is the red and blue patterned top you see in the middle.
Good luck to you when you go into Zara this season.
There are some long loose jackets that Zara suggests you wear over shorts (matching or not) to dress up a casual look.

Years ago, my fellow bloggers from Singapore asked me why i didn’t get an intern (cos all the fashion bloggers in SG had one) and i procrastinated looking for one cos i didn’t NEED one yet… well now i do!!
Even though i wish i could multiply myself, I can’t, so to be in two places at the same time is just impossible. I need someone part-time to attend and cover events i don’t have time to; and in time, to help out with fashion projects that will kick off in May. I don’t mind students around 20, i don’t mind if you’re in between switching jobs at 30. I’m not ageist.
I WANT SOMEONE WHO:
– is capable of writing and taking nice photographs
– loves fashion and lifestyle topics
– has a flexible schedule
– preferably has their own car
– loves to eat. I can’t hang out with someone who doesn’t eat.
– is enthusiastic, creative and happy!
In return:
– you get to network with or without me at events
– blogpost will be credited and linked to you
– i will cover fuel and parking expenses
– you get free beauty products and clothes, depending how good you are haha
Interested, please email me at joycethefairy@gmail.com with the title ‘INTERN’.
Include your blog/twitter/instagram/fb urls where available! THANKS!!
Pass the word around to friends you think might be interested!
No whiners and divas please :p
