Thomas Sabo SS16 Launch @ Ciao Ristorante KL
I was invited by Thomas Sabo to the launch event of their Spring / Summer 2016 Sterling Silver Collections which included a sit-down dinner at Ciao Ristorante.
All the jewellery i’m wearing is from Thomas Sabo’s latest Rebel At Heart collection.
My very sweet dress is from Love, Bonito, and i’m wearing lippie from the new UD x Gwen Stefani collection.

I can’t stop admiring how Juwei’s hair falls so perfectly in the pic -_- I first met her when i was guest stylist and she was guest model for a NewTide feature, and i can attest that she looks as stunning in real life as she does in her music videos. #longhairenvy despite the fact i have no idea what she’s singing about but it’s probably love right??

As always, Thomas Sabo delights me with their designs. I can’t imagine how the German brand manages to churn out so many desirable pieces so quickly before i’m even over the previous collection.
The masculine Rebel At Heart line is dominated by expressive motifs of inner strength and protection from various cultures. I’m loving the artfully-embellished head of the Hindu Monkey God Hanuman and the elaborate Bull Skull.

The ladies’ Glam & Soul Collection offers a huge range of pieces – from imaginative Dreamcatcher jewels all the way through to colourful Festival Love Bridge bracelets, and romantic and trendy eye-catchers such as customizable Love Cuffs, and the glamorous Double Studs earrings being among the “It” items of the current collection.
There are more Love Bridge colours and designs now, compared to when they first launched it last Autumn/Winter! They gifted us another bracelet at the event that night, and i chose a turquoise one engraved with “JSquared” to give to Jun heehee ??

1 Mont Kiara mall is currently running a New You campaign till 1st May 2016. Revolving around fashion, health and beauty; it’s something all of us girls can relate to cos we’re always reinventing our looks innit?
I was invited by the team from 1MK to ignite the fashionista in me and parade around in pretty clothes!
I posted this on my Instagram and received comments about how it’s a pretty dress. It’s actually a 2-piece outfit that I put together, guys. Haha.
Feather’s Boutique in 1 Mont Kiara carries fetching Korean fashion that’s perfect for any occasion. The girls from the boutique were such darlings. I had such a great time putting together and strutting out looks for formal, dinner and casual occasions.

Formal:
The dress on the right was so fuss-free. I just had to slip it on like a jacket and button it up at the side; throw on a sash, and I’m good to go.
Dinner:
The top I chose for the formal outfit is actually the same as what I’m wearing in my dinner one. Oh, how I love tops that can be paired with anything for different occasions. My friend dubs it the cursed top. These cursed tops save you time from sitting in front of your wardrobe while telling yourself that you have absolutely nothing to match that new skirt from H&M with.
Activewear:
Got the top and bottom from Sports Direct. Honestly, pink is never my colour. I only chose it to match my sneakers.
King: Did you go for a run or something?

Me: Of course not!
By now, I think everyone in the office knows that exercising isn’t my thing… though I think I need to start doing something about it 🙁

The Pestle & Mortar Spring ’16 Ante Up launch took place last week at APW Bangsar. First established in 2010 by three friends whose designs are inspired by their experiences growing up, Pestle & Mortar produces apparel with the South East Asian urbanite in mind.
No one told me how pretty the venue looks after nightfall!
I tend to gravitate towards the men’s pieces under the label – their T-shirts in XS are great to be pulled of as a shirtdress on lazy days. Pair it with your sneakers and you’re all set to go!
Presenting 36 designs across variations of t-shirts, long and short sleeve shirts, outerwear, a ladies’ range of crop tops, sports tops and leggings; there is also a curated line of accessories that includes a snapback, 5-panel cap, bucket hat and tote bags.

Love, Bonito is looking for a Marketing Manager to be based in Malaysia, so i’m helping them spread the word!
The position will require you to travel between cities, and you’ll be working closely and reporting to Singapore’s Marketing Team. Salary offered: RM4500-RM5500.
Job Description:
- Oversee market, conceptualize and implement innovative and creative campaigns
- Manage, track and analyse marketing campaigns for all channels
- Manage and implement events – Customer related, fashion show, media launch and product launch (to name a few)
- Monitor and analyse competition, demand and market conditions and trends
- Maintain positive relationships with existing media personalities and build relationships with new KOLs and media partners
- Responsible for conceptualizing and securing marketing collaborations with strategic partners
- Creation of content and management of social media handles (Malaysia Instagram account, Malaysia targeted FB posts/ads and emails)
- Innovate and implement methods to provide an omni channel experience
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent
- Required skill(s): proficient skills in written oral communication, marketing activities coordination, Marketing Analysis, MS Office, savvy with data analytic tools
- Required language(s): English
- At least 3 years working experience in the related field
- Preferably Managers specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent
- Full time position
