RowdyRudy’s birthday is early April, and mine’s in mid-April.
One day, or more probably, night, we excitedly blabbered that we should have a joint birthday party since we know most of the same people anyway!
We just locked down our venue two days ago and now we’ve got to really meet up and sort out who we’ll invite (cos it’ll be small, er we hope, shebang), deco, dj, etc. We already have our theme, it’s gonna be crazy kiddy carnival whacky with clown and magician cos we never want to grow up! Think bali-mika times!
I had a quick lunch meeting with oh rowdy one to plan our birthdays a bit, and 20 minutes is NOT enough time.
We started forming categories – hitz and mix ppl, band ppl, family, media friends, fashion friends, old raver kaki friends.
“We have to really cut the list down y’know, and oh, there she goes writing another category..!” he declared in exasperation as i scrawled into my notebook.
Anyway, we figure we can’t accommodate/layan so many at one time… so we’re going to have an all day party.
15 hours, i think. WHACK!

I had to survey a huge bill which was left on my email.
Intentionally left it till Monday morn cos i didn’t want it to spoil my weekend…
So facing my mac, i opened the email to find it amounting to… RM1,200.
Ugh.
I tried not comparing it to all these things i could have used the money for.

This week has been hectic with the flurry of F1 parties and events, but despite it all, the most gratifying one i went to was Liz + Tom‘s wedding dinner at Le Meridian.

I haven’t seen Liz since she moved to London, been working for Tank magazine, and well, never came back!
Didn’t get to talk much to her cos she was busy running around, but their speeches were awfully sweet.

Went for lunch at Palate Palette, as well as to hunt for treasure vintage finds and sibuk peer at MarkCobrasnake and Steve Aoki.
Obviously ended up buying clothes, mostly from Jacinta, Ah Xu (or was he jaga-ing someone’s stall?) and Ethan of Show Pink (they’re having a junk sale next weekend too!)
My mobile phone ran out of battery since afternoon cos i left the charger at home.
Funny thing is i’ve been home for a couple of hours. But can’t be bothered to charge it.
It’s nice being out of touch with people and being left alone for a while sometimes.
I’m still adjusting to pulling off the whole work during day and events at night thing
and i think i’m getting older or something 0_0
cos i’m getting tired so easily.

Last night was Mods vs Rockers at Republic, Sunway Pyramid
a joint event between KLue, Puma, Redbull, Tiger and 8TV
I rarely go to Sunway Pyramid… or Sunway for that matter
Think i go there on an average of twice a year >.<
It was damn crowded… much to my surprise

I’m a very lazy person when it comes to my taking care of my complexion, and it boils down to being downright lucky that i have skin like this considering the superout timing i have for sleep and amount of partying i do.
My every day regime is wash with shu uemura oil cleanser (removes make up as well) and moisturize.
Sometimes i put eye cream. Sometimes.
I impulsively bought this kononnya super cun exfoliate when i went for some Harper Bazaar’s Beauty Awards or something like that last year.
Until now i’ve never even bothered to use it 0_o
So i thought, okay la, put some effort into exfoliating and went into vanity mode.
After that i smoothed on this Biotherm one i bought quite some time back as well.
Hmm i haven’t seen a HUGE difference from the Aesop one yet.
Think i have to religiously use it more.
But the Biotherm one is awesome.
I always get comments that my skin is smooth, but it made it even MORE smooth.
Can’t stop hugging myself.
Weirdest thing i heard this morning.
First Priya and RezaSexyGrin were talking about whether they would be good taking care of toddlers.
Then they moved on to whether they would rather a male or female friend to take care of their future kids.
Suddenly Priya goes, “I like the sound of nappies.”
Referring to the crinkle it makes when the baby crawls.
“That…’s kinda weird…” said Reza.
I got up to go back to my desk, “Okay, too much baby talk in the morning 0_o This mod rocker’s going back to work!”
