Boy, i’m stuffed.
I amazed myself by putting away three plates of food during reunion dinner (i touched down just in time to chuck my bags home, shower and shoot off to aunt’s house for dinner) despite ploughing through a 6-course meal the night before in Mozaic.
Below are a few pictures and vids of our bungy jumps in Bali.
The driver we hired took us to Route 66, which is just a bit further down the beach from Anantara and Kudeta.

Admittedly, i’ve bungy-jumped before over Waikato River in NZ when i was… 14.
Even though it was ten years ago, i can still remember the terrifying feeling of the leap’s first few seconds and yearned for it again!
RowdyRudy went first.
Then i went next.
You can hear me screaming, preparing myself for the jump in the video.
The guy was going, “Are you ready?!”
And i shouted back, “NO! But i’m going to do it ANYWAY!!!”
Good thing you can’t hear all the curses coming out of my mouth before i jumped :p
Fucking. Awesome.
Even before i got let down, my brain was screaming LET’S DO IT AGAIN!!! so us two ran to the lift like excited kids for a second go.
This time round, i went first, doing a backward swan dive.
And RowdyRudy decided to do a running leap.

Went to yam cha with AshleyTheMonkey and QueenKanch just now and i was telling them how i got a ginormous shock when the bungy dudes weighed me and wrote it down on my hand in black marker.
48 kg.
48 kg?!
I was 43 when i left for Bali!
How the heck did i manage to eat so much till i gained 5 kg in 5 days!?
Then they told me that there was an additional 2kg for safety measures. “Oh,” i paused, “But still… suddenly 46kg 0_o”
QueenKanch: You put on and lose weight damn fast la. Me: Hmm. AshleyTheMonkey didn’t say anything cos the woman eats everything she wants and doesn’t gain grams.
Silence around the table as we all pondered on our weight for a few seconds.
Ashley spoke up, “Well if it makes you feel any better, Fai is 80 kg!”
The bungy was bloody amazing. We both went twice and i’m so proud i went backwards the second time.
“I’m going backwards now!” i yelled to RowdyRudy from the deck.
“You. Are. Mental!” he yelled back.
This dude, Dewa, from AJ Hackett promised jumping backwards was better then forward though i insisted i loved the view of the ocean hand-in-hand with the feeling i’m going to die.

After that, we had some down time in the van on the hour-long ride to Ubud where i had possibly the most amazing meal in my entire life.
I’m sitting by the ohmyfuckinggodit’ssogloriouscandie pool right now.
Hmm ok everything’s dancing with us cos of the shrooms but that’s why I LOVE BALI cos it’s legal here and goddammit

I’m psycho energizer bunny cos i’m running around doing this and that but it’s all GOOD and love and happy happy!
Yeah i said i was going to blog after scoffing my nasi padang (wow the nasi was damn wangi and sedap man! puas gila) but i got carried away and passed out… :p oops.
Anyway this was two days ago when we didn’t leave the villa AT ALL.
Spent the entire day running around like mad party people.
I put Mr. Elephant out in the sun to dry (and pacify) him after leaving him out in the rain >.<
Running around like silly with the spinner.
Stupid thing was we initially held the stick and spun the end in circles and it didn’t seem right.
We kept on doing that for ages. Till RowdyRudy noticed the picture of a girl *running* with it trailing behind her on the package.

So much for ages 6 and up.
23 and up also fail mouse.
Cool suction ball you throw and catch with frisbee-like plate.
We also bought three psychedelic bouncy balls that loved floating in the pool too!
Wish we bought like, fifteen or something to bob around the entire pool.

We put the camera on timer and ran across the pool to shoot our circus act – RowdyRudy juggling while i trail away the spinner (okay that doesn’t take as much skill as juggling :p)

I think the most smashing toy we bought was the giant Fan Yang bubble blower! Fan Yang is our new hero and RowdyRudy aspires to be the next Bubble Master.
