Didn’t go out AT ALL last night (Friday) cos i was too tired from the night before -_-
I didn’t drink that much but i really FELT a hangover (and i almost NEVER get hangovers!!!) on Friday
Age is creeping up on me
On Thursday night
Went to pick StephTheVolcano and YC up
For the Gallo show at The Loft, AHR
YC took ages coming down from her apartment
And i almost felt like strangling her
But she said there was only one lift working and she had to take the stairs

She said the dr offered to give her a new nose and she just wanted her old one
I said hey, if i broke my nose and it would cost me the same to repair anyway, i’d definitely get a nicer nose!

Then we hopped over to Aristo at Zouk where i was to ‘celebrity guest bartend’ for Clive magazine
It was totally different from when i guest-bartended at Attic Because the drinks were mostly pre-mixed already :p
Went for the Absolut event last Friday
Where quite a few people started misbehaving when i was leaving

Such a wonderful day to do laundry (which i did)
And clean my room (which i’m still in the midst of prepping myself to do :p)
My room is relatively clean…
It just has lots of clean and new clothes, bags and shoes strewn everywhere right now

I was chilling in my front garden (still prepping myself to clean room, see)
And was admiring my fairy blowing kisses at the fish in the water…
When i spotted a rather interesting insect at her tootsies!
I was crouching down getting a shot when Daddy came outside Daddy: I saw on your blog you took a picture of a *grasshopper* that day Me: Ha ha yeah
Daddy: That’s the one which has been eating all my plants okay. And you take picture of it

Sunburst is an annual music festival featuring international and local acts that took off last year.
Bringing in acts like Incubus, George Clinton & The Parliament / Funkadelic, The Roots and John Legend in 2008; this music festival exceeded people’s expectations with how organised and enjoyable the entire day turned out to be. In fact, read what SarChan wrote about it here.
This year, a lot of speculation and gossip was going around on who is coming to perform. Acts for Sunburst 2009:
When the confirmed list of artistes were announced, the first person i got terribly excited about seeing is Skye of Morcheeba.
This is all personal preference btw, so stop emoing if you think i should be excited about seeing someone foremost. I’m not. I’m excited about Skye okay.
I listen to Morcheeba intensively every time i’m chilling out in my bedroom, or on the beach.
So to listen to someone whose voice has carried me along so many trips… is something i’m trying NOT to get my expectations up about lest i get disappointed but can’t help cos COME ON SHE CANNOT DISAPPOINT ME. Also *talking to myself* i have to remind myself that she’s not with Morcheeba now, but solo, so not to expect Morcheeba. :p Okay have to stop, talking crazy here.
Second act who’s drawing me to go is Erykah Badu.
Another person i know who is sure to fawn over the fact she’s coming is Kevin Yeoh.
I realise the music i’m pawing after this Sunburst are the more chill out artistes
But then again, everyone has different tastes.
I know AshleyTheMonkey is looking foward most to N.E.R.D.
She used to say things like, “If only NERD would come perform here.”
And now that they are, i think no storm, or number of lizards will keep her away.
Hmm a storm OF lizards i’m not too sure. But i digress.
