Yesterday i went for the launch of the Estee Lauder Model Search at Mid Valley Megamall

(minus the guys) Chelsia, Azura, fairy, Xandria, WhackyDaph

Chelsia let Azura and i steal Muji lollies off her
which we sucked on like little girls, instead of maintain women at an event :p

Xandria showed me her super bling engagement ring
She’s someone a lot of girls would love to hate –
her own travel show, a published book (with thick coloured printing, no less!), and happily engaged
damn hard not to feel inferior complex wei -_-

I was gawking at this article online which i got off Twitter
on parents who are such Star Trek freaks,
they named their kids Riker Si James Tee Kirk and Seven Si Kathryn Janeway

Was telling SarChan about it and she asked what if i wanted to name my future kids based on something i fancy
“Oh, i guess they could be named after My Little Ponies, ha ha!”

Always wanted to blog these pictures but never put in the time (or some other event seemed more urgent to blog about then yada yada yada)
These were taken last Hari Raya holidays, when everyone was out of town
RowdyRudy and i didn’t feel like getting caught in the race at airports and on the highway to get out
So we indulged in staying at KL Hilton just for the heck of it

We LOVE Hilton
and call it our Happy Place

I think it became a habit a few Hitz people started at the same time (Serena, Adam, Rudy)
to stay there to ‘get away’ without actually getting away from the city cos work disallowed it

One of my fave dishes at the Hilton is their burger
Order it medium rare with sauteed vegetables and i’m in heaven

We got that, and a vongole
But dunno why, i was awfully disappointed with the food that day
Was totally not up to par as per usual

Was trying to do StephTheVolcano’s end-of-the-world thing like we did in Bali
But it just didn’t work without a proper wall

I got really tired of hearing all the kids playing at the pool, but i still wanted to swim
So i ‘swam’ in the bathtub with my Circle of Peace

It’s a long weekend again and unlike most other people who’ve gone on holidays,
I’m in KL

Spent all day with MilcahG yesterday
where i found myself at the AIM rehearsals
watching her french dancer friends Norman and Kareem

Gonna spend RudyFairy time today
But instead of the bathtub, think i’ll make Rudy drag the kiddy pool out for me to sit in

A year ago: i first mentioned Tongue in Chic on my blog. Who would’ve thought we would garner clients like Bulgari, LG, Levi’s, adidas and many more within a year 
2 years ago: I found out the condition i have is trichotillomania, and i dreamt about burgers in the Happy Place (how coincidental i blogged about it today!)
3 years ago: I went to the Cleo Bachelor’s Party, I spoke to God about the Internet, and TL mania started.
4 years ago: I had a bad luck streak
5 years ago: I got spiked for the first time

     

I blogged about Hennessy Artistry being back for 2009 just two weeks ago
and managed to go for the event held at The Loft, Asian Heritage Row

The event was said to start at 9pm
And knowing how night events are, i thought i was early at 9:30pm
But there were already super long lines outside!

As i was calling Nick of Nuffnang, one of the Hennessy PR spotted me and brought me in

The entire outside area of The Loft was totally transformed!
There were red carpets, bright lights, disco balls, everything all glitzed up!

“Reveal the DJ in you through the art of mixing!”

The very cool-looking Music Mixing Experience Booth,
is a DJ Console in a miniature club environment

The disco balls and decor make it look like you could have own personal party in there

Here, guests could experiment with mixing music (you can even choose your genre to work with!)
and a female DJ would guide you
There was also a Video Mixing Experience Booth
where there was an elevated VJ Console with big screens in front and above
Just like the music booth, you could try mixing various visual effects
with the guide of a female VJ as well

In the media room, people were taking pictures with Starz Angels non-stop,
hence a picture of them with fans

Outside was the red carpet where cameras were a-flashing and Vanessa Chong (who was also emcee for the night) interviewed people for Hennessy Artistry

One of the dudes from Starz Angels was actually making some hand gesture to pose for the cam
though he does look like he’s waving paparazzi away!

where it’s pretty much like a Miniature Bar where guests could sample Hennessy drinks + different type of mixers in shot glasses

Under the mixing magic of an International Bartender, guests could taste different ways to enjoy Hennessy VSOP before heading upstairs

I went to kacau Irman aka VJ Spacebar who was doing the visuals for Hennessy Artistry that night

I really did have a lot of fun and even twittered it

The crowd was absolutely taken aback when the Beatboxer went up on stage
Even friends and myself who are regulars at music events went ‘WOW’

Starz Angels rocked the place and it felt more like a weekend night rather than a Thursday night!

I thought of blogging some pictures from events i went to last week

Krispy Kreme has officially opened in KL @ Berjaya Times Square
and prior to that, they sent Freeform dozens of boxes of doughnuts
(Below is taken in afternoon, lots were gone into tummies already)

I was thinking ‘WAH so many doughnuts, confirm everyone can take back one box!’

Last week DidiBuli was mengamuking over someone who stole her special green tea or something
and left it in the recycle bin

She shouted, pointed fingers
and nobody (dared) own up

So she chucked the empty can on the pantry table
attached with a note in very angry handwriting

Was going to blog nicely but am WAY too full right now
And full = lazy
Managed to put away a bowl of asam laksa + roast lamb + roti jala + curry chicken + junk food within an hour at Ira’s 1st Birthday party (AndrewBNBC + Nat’s daughter)
SpankyCammy and i kept saying, “omg i’m so full” to each other
So full so full still can reach out and stuff our faces with junk food

The pants reminded me of the Commes des Garcon for H&M collection (which i didn’t really like) but funnily enough, i liked these pants cos the material was really soft and flowy. Plus the fact  i didn’t have to pay a few hundred bucks for it. I paid RM2.50.
