Yesterday was an insane day or rushing around, feeling like i’m wasting time in the afternoon jam in heat, then when we have to get out of the car it starts to storm.
Went to support Justin and Jimmy at a small showcase of their works along with Triumph’s Ultimate Support Exhibition in the new wing of 1U.
Designers involved – Justin Yap, Jimmy Lim, Calvin Thoo, Bill Keith, Carven Ong, Khoon Hooi, Jason Yek, Richard Tsen.
They’ve got a history tunnel going on till this Sunday the 6th.
Quite cool to see the ads though, i love old school ads!

He made me try on an outfit that’s similar in style to the one i’m to wear next week.
As he helped me with the skirt, its hook caught on my stockings and made me panic cos they’re new.
So with the skirt hiked up to my waist, he had to bend over and unhook it. It’s okay, he’s gay he’s gay, i thought to myself, despite feeling a wee bit awkward.
Just have to remember he’s probably got heaps of tits, ass and poons in his face at fashion shows.

Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, Warehouse, Principles, Dorothy Perkins.
Going for RM1 – RM20.
Everyone was just grabbing what they could get their paws on first, and only to check whether it could fit them after that.

Twas nice of Mr. Boss to let us go for the sale.
I told SarChan, “Wah, i feel damn semangat to do work now!”
Just thinking of all the new clothes i have waiting for me to bring to their new home is making my heart go all mushy.

When i first reached the shoot, the director said my hair was too startling and maybe, i should wear a hat.
I really didn’t mind being cut out of the video cos i remember i was pretty sick that day and wasn’t going to complain being sent back to bed.
In the end they chucked me into Haagen Daz to chat with Amiru.
Aren’t i a great actress?! Smiling and all that!?
Okay, i’m in actuality a terrible actress.
I just look so natural cos i was* really grinning at things Amiru was saying.

At one point, the brollie that Sa had in the vid didn’t open during the take.
So the water spilt on her and she had to change and redo her make up i.e. longer shoot.
Everyone was like, “Oh mannn…”
But because she got all her friends to help out in her vid, we couldn’t walk out on her.

SmallsMinkyMin was dancing like a wild little firecracker to which i observed in amusement.

She shot and skipped around the area, dancing and going nuts!
I did see some similarity in the way we party and vowed to bring her for Lap Sap.
She’s so lap sap!
Most people sorta mouth the lyrics to songs as they dance, so as to (perhaps) look cool.
She just SHOUTS them out loud cos she actually knows them by heart, word for word.
Just watching her made me grin and dance more.

Then you have QueenKanch.
One of the most maintain dancers you have around.
A little boogie here, a pop of the hip bone there.
Swing the hair a bit, look down coyly.
Shake. Shake, shake the shoulders, but not too much.
You know what i mean.
So, put the LEAST maintained person (read: Smalls) grabbing at the MOST maintained person (read: Kanch) with Smalls going, “Dance with me! Dance! Yeahhh!!!” and you got me laughing and shaking my head at the irony – of Kanch trying not to look like a spoilsport and dance, yet not being able to keep up with the little tornado that is Smalls.
Oh, lagi best was when the talented Reza Salleh came up to say hi.
“Oh my god. What are you doing here?” *thinking this is so not his scene*
I introduced him to Smalls, to which she screamed, “Reza Salleh! I LOVE your show!” and promptly flung her arms around him, much to his surprise (tho i’m pretty sure he was chuffed).
Then she took a picture with him hee hee.

So i got my brother to tapau me porridge, pick me up and went home.
