I was thinking what better way to look for contributors for Tongue in Chic than my blog, seeing majority of readers are girls anyway!
If you’ve been reading it, you’d have noticed that we’ve got Eve Von blogging for it. The first few meetings we had, i was afraid she’d kick me cos she looked well fierce. And even joked (which at the time i wasn’t sure whether she was joking, that) she’d kick me. You can read about her excursion to the Adidas Sample Sale while i was in Langkawi *here*
This week, we gleefully pulled on board Eleanor. If i thought Eve Von would take the trophy for controversial articles, boy. I thought wrong. Eleanor’s cutting words and dare-defy-me opinions such as on her latest post even had her emailing me that she did try to decrease her angst. I read it and replied she was giving me a heart attack. Read “Fast Fashion.”
We’ve also confirmed another contributor, a guy this time, whose blog i stumbled upon and is very excited about writing for us too!
We still need contributors, those who (obviously!) have a strong interest in fashion and can write decent English. I need people to cover events, shows, interviews, trends, news, but most importantly, are enthusiastic to do it!
Despite being a blog, we pay as well as a printed publication. So if you love fashion and writing about it, it’s effortless money on your part! We’re looking for contributors from KL and Penang and other countries in S.E.A. if you’re based there.

I woke up at 6am today (i know, how weird is that!) and did my laundry. Yes, i’m submitted to doing my laundry at either 2am or 6am on weekdays cos my mum or bro usually takes over the machines on weekends or i’m not in -_-

Good God. It finally happened. I simply guessed someone would do this one day and he finally did! Some dude proposed to his girlfriend on a blog. Of course, not any old blog, but Kenny Sia’s. He looks kinda stiff though, from nervousness i guess.

I was watching a few of the BMW Shorties finalist films and some are pretty damn good! I can’t even decide which i want to vote for yet! The ‘7 Squared’ one made me think the girl was crazy at first. The ‘Sing in Rain’ made me laugh. But also, i can never get a good feel from hearing the song “Singing in the Rain” ever again after watching Clockwork Orange. There are 2 more days to vote. *click*

SuperstarAdlin has been generating brownie (damn, there’s a pun!) points by bringing yummy snacks like apple crumble to the office and giving everyone portions. He doesn’t make them of course. His fiancee Ayu does and she’s got a blog at Rude With Food.
You can order things like mud cake, carrot cake with cheese frosting, choc chip banana bread and loads more from her too. I think SuperstarAdlin should bring more to the opis so i can rave about it properly.

Irman and Shermen have started this very cool party blog called Shoot Bang Bang. I know people out there aspire and have party photo blogs… but put their design + photography talent and wala! Fly looking site with pictures worthy of using on party flyers. Like Adrian Yap’s picture on the WILD flyer. Don’t think anyone could beat that though.
I went for dinner with QueenKanch after work today at the Fish + Chips place on Changkat BB.
Such huge portions, i’m stuffed.
As she was fetching me home, we simultaneously saw a piece of paper/cardboard/plastic? sweeping through the air… towards her windshield.
It thumped dully against the glass, and we both exclaimed in relief.
“Walau, i thought it was paper… suddenly got noise!”
“Yeah, i was closing my eyes already.” “?? Why?”
“So if the glass shatters, it doesn’t cut my face!” “Hahaha!”
“Yeah wut, do you know how bad scars are if glass cuts it, protect your face first okay!” “I can’t believe you have that on your mind if you have an accident…”
“No, really. Just pull your handbrake up then cover your face, if people say you’re scared never mind. At least your face is okay.”
First thing i did when i came home was to chuck my bags and go online.
SarChan was online straight from the airport too!
She accidentally sent me an email which she was supposed to send to someone else.
I msged her, “Eh don’t so blur can, you sent reply to me -_-“
Then, i forgot my own password for the office forum.
And she told me she forgot her username.
Next when i wanted to sign into my old Xanga account to cancel the premium account, i couldn’t remember my password too.
We are what you can call, fail dot com.
Apxara Events were really smart in how they sneakily sucked us into enthusiastically dressing like witches. They fed us canapes, fruit martinis and wine in the evening at Westin’s 5-bedroom villa.
And by the time an hour has passed, everyone’s been drinking on an empty stomach and was more than happy to tie on silk capes, don pointy hats and wave their wands going, “Wingardum Leviosa!”
