The choruses from her songs are practically embedded in our heads to the point it becomes unforgiving (because you just CANNOT GET IT OUT)

The moment someone started humming it or i heard it as someone’s ringtone, die.

One of Rihanna’s earlier singles is still my favourite single from her till today – S.O.S.
Shaddup i just like it okay.
I just couldn’t get enough of the song and i loved loved loved her style even back then.
Can’t hate her for changing it ever so often too.
Yay to evolving your image, i say!
In fact, her fashion image and sense has always been such an influence to the point Gucci selected her as the spokesmodel for their first UNICEF ad campaign (that just launched last month).
Rihanna is set to perform in KL two weeks from now and it will be, without a doubt, the biggest event taking place here for the month of February.
The Grammy award-winning singer (who also has five Billboard Hot 100 number ones under her belt) will be performing in KL as part of her second world tour to promote her Good Girl Gone Bad album.
Even if she’s going to be covered from her shoulders to her knees (i know right. double yoo tee eff -_-) i’m sure the woman will still manage to blow us away with her fashion choices.
Seriously.

Lots of rushing around and rubbish
I missed my flight back from Bangkok on Monday night -_-
Finally all the Almost-Missed-My-Flight-But-Caught-It karma has caught up with me
Funnily enough, when we were told we missed our flight,
I didn’t get too upset or angry, tho Person-Who-Felt-It-Was-His-Fault was livid and didn’t speak for half an hour
When one of the staff took me to claim back my luggage, it took really long to come
And i thought, “Shit… i’m not upset by missing the flight. But i swear if they lose my suitcase and all my shopping I WILL CRY.”
Anyway we had to wait overnight in the airport till we could catch the 7am one back to KL on Tues morning
Spending the night in the airport was cold!
And we did silly things to pass the time like counting how many Thai coins we had left, what we could buy, and whether we could find more on the ground :p
I read half my book
We took turns sleeping for fear of our luggage or missing the second flight
That would be SO FAIL i tell you
Got back Tues, went to work
Was so sleepy from lack of sleep / sleeping on airport bench
Early this morning, packed for Sg
And am at St Regis Hotel now to work while the others are all out walking around
Loving the king-size bed, automatic curtains, Bose surround sound and butler service
My butler’s name is Sam
And i’ve bugged poor Sam for lots of silly things already

I have pics from my previous Singapore trip (two weeks ago) in my drafts so not so fail
I did a warm up session of shopping on Sukhumvit last night
There are so many new clothes stores there that weren’t before!
I think i’ve matured as a cheapo shopper by not buying every damn cheap nice thing i see
And instead choosing what is really nice and walking away from those i think are not worth it
(like a dress i liked for RM26, i know right wtf. But i would think i can find something nicer for RM20. Whereas in KL i wouldn’t think half a second for getting a dress i like for RM50)
Walked around Siam Centre for awhile and physically had heart pains when i saw new heels from Balenciaga on display “Take me away… i came to Bangkok for cheap shopping! And i’m going to start crying if i look at those shoes anymore!”
Went to Ekanai (something like that, i can’t remember the street now) which had a lot of really nice clubs
I really like it
Was more classy than RCA
Had so much fun meeting some Thai friends
And they’re fucking funny
Have very drunk pictures of us all

Was with my lovelies tonight
Took some pushing (as it always does due to our very different jobs, locations and timing)
But we managed to meet up for yee sang dinner tonight at South Pac in PJ
Just my lovelies and i – SpankyCammy, StephTheVolcano, Aps, and DhanyaTheMonkel
But i say it was the longest yee sang cos it’s different when you do it with friends than with family
With family, it always has to be more polite and appropriate
With friends, all the *genuine* prosperous thoughts we wish for ourselves come tumbling out
All 5 of us stood up and started chanting different things at random:
“More luck!”
“Good time at work!”
“More sex!”
“More good sex!”
“More clothes!”
“More SHOES!”
“More holidays!”
“More shrooms!”
“More hot men!”
“More creative men!”
“More NORMAL MEN!”
“Hahaha!!!”
After a while, half of us sat down while some still stood up, chopstick in air, “Wait… i’m sure there are more things we want to say!”
We continued for longer till we were thoroughly satisfied with all we wanted :p
We tossed yee sang so high, some ended up in the chinese tea cups
Dhanya shocked the bejesus out of us by bringing ang pow to give us “Babe… that’s really really sweet, but you can’t give us ang pow! You must be married..! Unless you’re giving to your parents…” “Really?”
“Yeah… it’s bad luck for us AND for you to give us ang pow! You gotta be married la!” “Oh, but… i’m married to myself! Does that count?”

Woman is so festive she even brought fortune cookies for each of us.
Too cute.
Mine read:
I turned to her: “I don’t think this is a fortune cookie. This is like a con cookie. Anyone of us could be this!” “… i can give you another one if you don’t like your fortune…” she turns around to reach into her giant handbag.
It’s near impossible even to pretend-play at being angry with her.

Anyway we ordered way too much and ate till we had to drink wine after dinner instead of other filling drinks
Had hotplate tofu, assam fish, chilli chicken, sweet and sour pork (for the white girl), and kangkung belacan
Mmmmmmmmmm
I told them about my gross episode on throwing up in my mouth from eating too much
And each of them contributed a story of the same
(Save for SpankyCammy who salah concept and told a story of her throwing up and out instead)
So i’m not the weird one after all!
OR… maybe we’re all kinda weird
That’s why we’re friends ha ha
