i hate it when you drink too much
and start getting all noisy
and people stare at us in a restaurant

i hate it when you burp
and pretend like nothing happened
look at me with big eyes
till the SMELL HITS me and i want to collapse
(worst still when you do it to me at events -_-)
i hate it when you call me at work
cos i’m busy and you want to talk rubbish
but you don’t anymore
cos you realise i’m a snappy bitch when you do it

i hate it when we’re having catch-up time
and people interrupt us
cos they want to talk/take pictures with you
but it’s ok -_- cos we do it in more quiet bars now
but over all the things you do that irritate me
and how we bicker in public
to the point people think we’re fighting for real
i obviously love you more for all that you are
your insanity for life
and magnetism that seems to draw
heaps of energy towards you and the ones around you
your optimism and hope
despite people who have cheated you in the past
you’re so talented in so many ways

when i open my closet and think to myself “I have nothing to wear…”
I have recently started a new habit
to wear clothes i never pull out of my closet
by closing my eyes and grabbing the first thing
and using that as a base to mix and match with
:p
One habit i haven’t curbed is NOT to use the same handbag all the time
I have so many bags
And i always end up using one for weeks on end before switching to another
Just because i don’t have time to move things from bag to bag

along with fashion shows by Albert King and Michael Ong

We got a new intern called Happy today
She sits on my right
And Crazy is on my left
So cute, ClaudiaOnCrack (aka Crazy) dreamt that i like the new intern better than her and proclaimed she didn’t want to share me

I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since Zouk has been open.
My, how time flies.
I remember going for its launch then,
And i think it’s pretty amazing it’s still doing well now.
Their 5th Anniversary last Thursday night had the theme Fantasia
It was like a freaky mad carnival outside

Most of the stuff was fascinating, but when RowdyRudy and i saw these mushroom people, we went “Arghhh!!!” and ran away.
I slowly went back to take a picture.
Seriously, i would FREAK the fuck out if i was on mushrooms and saw these mushrooms!
And then… i saw the happiest sight EVER.

Told Adam and Jet of Zouk that i REALLY REALLY WANT THE MUSHROOMS in Barsonic when RowdyRudy and i do the next Cat Got Your Tongue (April 16th) there, and they said okay.
The next day, i emailed them to say thanks for the great party, and PS-ed: Don’t forget my mushrooms!
Jet replied that they all disappeared that night… and even attached pictures of people posing with mushrooms and taking them home.
Words cannot express my misery.
I replied with one expressively long word: “NOoOOOooooooooooo!!!”

We’ve got a new puppy in the office!
Well, it’s Jia Wei’s puppy and she brings it to work with her
So now not only do we have publications and do events…
We’re a day-care centre for puppies too.
Okay reason i keep on saying ‘puppy’,
is because it’s still nameless

Jia Wei calls it “Kato” (i think)
DidiBuli calls it “Kuching” which i think is going to confuse the thing
And all day everyone is going “So cute!”
So if i were the puppy, i’d think my name is “sokiut”
So cute!
It’s got bells on its collar so we know where it is
and i think it’s a great stress-reliever cos we play with it throughout the day

There are a few restaurants we regularly go to for lunch at Jaya One
My fave is Ducking and Kissaten
Oh, Hanezen isn’t bad too, but to pay RM40 for lunch all the time is a bit ouch
Santini’s has got decent lunch sets for RM15 but the pasta gets a bit salty at times
My saba fish set from Kissaten today (RM24)
