Met up to drink to the birthdays of Jess, Clem, Tianna, and Justin
at new Dirty Nelly’s pub in Damansara Jaya
(it’s on the same row as Maybank / 7-Eleven)

Admittedly, i haven’t gone with friends to drink in a pub for so long.
I always seem to call the SAME two people when i want a Guinness – Aps, or Danny :p
But i had fun that night and realise i miss talking to certain friends!
Promise i’ll try to stop being so holed up and catch up with more old friends soon!
Clem decided last minute to have a BBQ
despite him not knowing anything about BBQ-ing.
Meaning his girlfriend had to marinate everything.
We had it on the rooftop of Suasana Sentral
and it’s a pretty damn gorgeous venue.
Completely private, open air, pool and awesome view!

Clem eating while we do the work :p
Whoever said BBQ is a guy’s thing…
but Clem’s friends did help a lot!
My shimmery top is from Topshop.

Halfway thru there were a lot of arms waving in photos…
A few of us girls went to paddle in the pool nearby,
and there were some kids hanging out there.
Steph INSISTED on tying up a little girl’s bow that had come undone.
Hello, secret motherly side coming out!
Clouds, Cammy, Aps
At one point i could’ve SWORN that Clem was behind me,
and i was grabbing his ass while talking to people.
After like one minute, i turned around to see… it was FAI. -_-
He was just standing there letting me raba him, eww!
Someone managed to catch a picture of us laughing after i ran away to hide behind Clem.
Clouds on Crack
By this point i was regretting drinking so much before having to cut the cake.
Cake was ordered from That Last Slice.
I got so carried away offering everyone cake,
that i forgot to have one piece for myself -_-
I didn’t even get to eat the cake!!

Clouds and Kevin got Clem a balloon that looked like a golf ball
which is supposed to be Wilson’s father.
Btw, Wilson’s 1st birthday was last Sunday! Heh.
Thanks to everyone who came!
Sorry there aren’t pictures of EVERYONE here…
And it definitely was a good party… seeing a third of the people who came don’t remember half of it.
We woke up at 9:30am on Sat morn to race to the supermarket before other people crowded up the place.
I wanted to go to Tesco.
He scoffed at Tesco (and added it’s English -_-) and said we’d just go to Carrefour cos it’s closer.
And it’s French. -_-
“Carrefour sucks… my friends who stay near that one say it doesn’t have lots of things!” i protested. “What do you care? We’re just getting basic things!”
“Fine.”
*One hour later*
Clem: What kind of supermarket is this?! It doesn’t even have real mayonnaise. Just this shitty American stuff!
Me: I … told.. you… so….
It didn’t have lemon juice either.
So he had to drop by Mercato after our Carrefour spree for additional things.
I took pictures while preparing food.
Just because… i like how it looks? Heh.
I really enjoy cooking tho!
It’s fun to watch textures and colours mix,
smell them…
and anticipate EATING IT AFTER
To marinate meat, i basically googled a handful of recipes,
took everything i liked from them,
and campak together.
Surefire win.
Red vinegar, soy sauce, basil, thyme, mustard, honey (but it makes the meat burn faster)
lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, etc
He wasn’t smiling after that when he was peeling potatoes for hours to make potato salad to feed 25 people.

“Founded in 2003 as an electronic dance music project,
this Norwegian-German quartet has evolved over the years
into a band without any programmed elements.
Groovy elements of funk and disco,
coupled with infectious melodies are sprinkled generously throughout their sound.
With two albums to its credit, 2006’s “Dreams” and 2009’s “Rules,”
The Whitest Boy Alive’s knack for making melodious dance/pop music with conventional rock band instruments shines right through in tracks like “Burning,” “Gravity,” and “1517”.
This world tour sees them hitting Colombia and Mexico before swinging into Asia.” [source]
