Win HOLIDAYS :D

Comments (0) La la la

I can’t seem to decide which comes first – freelance work, blog or boyfriend. Sometimes one takes precedence over another, before i feel i’m neglecting one, and going back to it. WHATEVS. Being busy is better than not! Promise to post up pix from the Topshop event later today, after i’m done with a deadline.

BTW here’s a great contest *i’d* enter! I posted about my trip to Sri Panwa last year… (one of the best resorts i’ve ever stayed in) and it’s one of the prizes for The Big Sweep!

Sign up at The Luxe Nomad and click on The Big Sweep to enter!

What a month. And it’s just about halfway!

I’ve been doing SO many things that my blog can’t even catch up with it all… i still have Myanmar and Singapore posts to finish. I was in Awanmulan a week ago and lots of cute pictures of the kids playing i want to post. Last Friday i went down to Johor to visit Legoland on Saturday. Also hung out with the Johor peeps who are SO freaking awesome, i’ve been telling everyone in KL how we should all check out the Johor scene together.

On Saturday, i woke up at 6:30am for Legoland. Rested from 7:30-9pm, then went for the Heineken x Juice party, and went back to the hotel at… 6am Sunday. I didn’t think i still had it in me! Crashed in the bus ride from 10am-4pm. Unpacked and rested. Thirtyfour event at Publika on Sunday night.

And i have some deadlines i have to finish today cos i’m packed with work and events on Tuesday and Wednesday… I can’t wait for next weekend so i can just sit at home and chill a bit!

But i just wanted to thank the Universe for everything. Work is pouring in and it’s so good to be busy.

Louise Gray X Topshop Launch this Tuesday & i’m giving away 10x goodie bags worth RM150 each!

Comments (2) Fashion

Topshop is back with yet another designer collaboration, this time with colourful and crazy Louise Gray! Known for her signature style of clashing a multitude of colours and textures, you bet you bright-bottomed bum that her 6-piece fashion collection with Topshop falls nothing short of shouting BRIGHT and READY TO PLAY.

Louise: “The dresses and tops are all totally covered in sequins and I made them to go dancing in. My mainline collections have always been about pushing optimism, colour and fun and I wanted to bring that to the Topshop collection as well. I want the Topshop girl to stay out all night in it!”

I laughed reading that cos i know what she means by wearing something that’s so awesome, you just don’t wanna go home!

Besides the fashion collection, there is ALSO a Louise Gray x Topshop make-up collection that will be launched on the same day. As you’d expect, the colours are just as playful and bright with glitter pots, fluoro eye colours, and lip colours that pop.

Summadayze 2013

Comments (1) Events, Music

I think i have a bad(?) habit of writing some lengthy blogposts that i take ages to finish one and they’re all halfway done! Got an email from Future Entertainment Australia about Summadayze 2013. The video is making me think of going. With so many friends popping out babies and a close girlfriend being pregnant now… i’m terrified it may be my turn soon. But no. Not yet. I still want a few more years of freedom. So my new motto is: PARTY TILL YOU’RE PREGNANT!!!

Myanmar: Bagan – tiny villages amongst thousands of temples

Comments (7) Bagan, Myanmar, Travel

In case you missed it, i already wrote a quick summary about Myanmar *HERE*. Now i’m going to attempt to blog all the pictures from my trip… hundreds and thousands of them -_- Gawd wish me luck.

Bagan is famous for its thousands of temples (4000 Buddhist temples were commissioned from 11th to 13th Century) and Marco Polo described it as “one of the finest looking sights in the world”. [source: Lonely Planet] We used the LP guide throughout our trip there. As did every other tourist we bumped into our entire stay in the country! Bagan is rated as one of the top places in Myanmar to visit, and i could see why… the panoramic view of hundreds of stupas, payas, and temples is astounding.

There’s also a village we visited, where we saw this old grannie rocking the biggest cigarette i’ve ever seen in my life.

This be the grannie. But there are too many pictures so you gotta click to read more for the rest!
