This is going to be a really quick post cos i’m absolutely knackered.
Cat Got Your Tongue #1 was a great success in the end!
Earlier in the day when SarChan asked me whether i was nervous, i replied, “… No! I’m excited!”
Only later when i was rushing to set up did i get a bit stressed out.
Question, how many people does it take to stick up streamers in a club?
Answer – three.
One (Rudy) to cut the sticky tape, one (Biresh) to hold the rolls while the last one (me) decides where to stick.
Biresh: Why so low? Stick higher la. Me: I. Cannot. Reach la. -_-
The pool was super fun to set up and the staff at Mansion are AMAZING.
So helpful + friendly + happy happy to play with the stuff around too!
My colourful plastic balls from Hanoi were poured into the pool, along with eight rubber duckies we bought at random. Colourful windmills were stuck up, happy soft toy flowers with smiley faces were wound around the gate and console area, yellow smiley face balloons and others of diff shapes and sizes were blown up and scattered at random, we had Fan Yang bubbles around for ppl to try out. Everything was very happy clappy colourful!
Just a few quick pictures for a sneak peek before i post the rest up later this week.
Tianna working it at the mini basketball tournament.
Party people! – me + the rudemeister
My happy dress is from Tres Chic in Bangsar btw
I could NOT stop playing with the spinner!
While dancing in the console, on the speakers, on the dance floor, around the club! Damn layan diri.
Spinner + DJ Le Kelvin
Can you spot Laura the Llama (pinata) and new blue mushroom light?

Almost everyone brought toys, some brought small toys (like bloody Kanch who turned up with… a finger puppet -_-), and the most sporting was Khailee who turned up with…
A GIANT TIGER that was bigger than most of us there.
His tiger (i forgot his name, Khailee, sorry!) was so popular, he went crowd surfing.
We’re very chuffed. I’m looking at these pictures thinking, “Who ARE these people?! i don’t remember their names… but it’s okay cos everyone had fun!!!”
Huge hugs and thanks to Azuan Azahar who took these great party shots for us.
Unfortunately, toys were actually kidnapped last night 0_o
Someone took my plush red mushroom that was at the sign in area, Johan’s little whale went missing and Lainie’s baby giraffe got stolen too…
She said damn celaka that ppl see it’s cute and they steal it.
🙁
Quite wtf wei. But it’s okay… we learn not to take our toys for granted now!!!
Mr. Elephant is safe phew.
I think i’d end up freaking out if he got kidnapped!
Next time we’ll have Toy Police. And if you get caught with someone else’s toy, you’ll be banned from RudyFairyFest. FOREVER.
Fairies are nature’s angels who protect our air, water, land, plants, and animals. They are the angels who keep our planet green. The more people who believe in fairies, the more power they have to help our environment. Cultures who believe in fairies generally have better produce, more parks, and more respect for the environment.
Our goal with World Fairy Festival is to educate about the reality of fairies, and to learn from their important lessons:
1. Having fun and playing is vital to health and happiness. Fun is a necessity, not a luxury.
2. Respect for animals and our environment is paramount. Every person’s contributions count.
3. Fairies are God’s nature angels. They received a bad reputation from people who mistreated the environment, and who were afraid of the power that fairies have (and which they lend to people who respect the environment). This power is God-given, pure, and needed in our world right now to help our earth to heal
Around the globe on May 3 through 4, we’ll be holding Fairy Workshops, Play Days, and other fairy-related events, all hosted by certified Angel Therapy Practitioners® and Angel Intuitives™. Please keep checking to find a World Fairy Festival event near you, and plan to attend. You’ll be glad that you did!
We’ll send waves of healing energy to our Mother Earth during the festival, and ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to local environmental and children’s charities.
Check it out! There’ll be a Fairy Festival in KL too! *click*
They’re genius.
Not only because everyone at work has a Facebook window open all day, but also cos EVERYONE’S on it and it’s so much easier to contact people.
First person who chatted to me was Antares. I heart Antares.
Then QueenKanch msged me as well.
Kanchiny

woo i wonder how this thing works
5:22pmJoyce
yeah it’s like gchat la
I JUST SAW YOUR STUPID FB PROFILE
i’m going to put you under ban list…
(Her Facebook profile read: Kanchiny Ramachandran refuses to bring toy tomorrow!!!!! REFUSE.)
I had meeting after meeting yesterday concerning work and different events.
Last meeting for the night was with Biresh and Rudy to smoothen details of Cat Got Your Tongue tomorrow night @ Mansion.
After more than a few dirty martinis, i blurted how i’d like a bouncer to stand next to the kiddy pool to guard the toys in case people steal them.
This morning Biresh smsed me he kow tim the bouncer.
We’re getting a bouncer to… guard our toys!?!?
That’s just whack.
Other than that, SarChan got sent to interview Wyclef Jean in Hong Kong and came back with a Marimekko for H&M dress she helped me buy.
I don’t fancy all the colours, but i liked the fuchsia+orange combo the best.
Luckily enough, she managed to snag a short one in my size!
So excited. Can’t wait to wear it to a happy event.
She said to wear it tomorrow but i’m gonna wear another colourful dress from Tres Chic which hasn’t got enough air time yet.
I’ve been in a fab mood all Monday despite it *being* a Monday.
I sang in the car all the way to work when usually i stop mid-sentence cos i sound so bad.
Okay i’m getting distracted by MYSELF cos i’m dancing in my chair while listening to The Darkness.
Went for dinner with GarfieldChak at some dodgy bar in Damansara Utama which served pork vindaloo.
Well i never! Have you?!
GarfieldChak was telling me he met my cousin. “Which one? Smalls is it?” “Yeah, she’s damn talkative man! *made sound of chipmunk blabbering*”
“Ha ha! She’s damn cute right.” “Yeah, and she’s smaller than you!”
“I’m the tallest amongst them…” “What are you guys, descended from smurfs?!”
“-_-“
Downed our dinner with Guinness and black chinese noodles (crap forgot the name) before coming home to…
Clean my room.
That’s right.
Me. Cleaning my room.
I don’t know what hit me, i suddenly got all semangat sorting out clothes, hanging them up, dancing around my room, listening to happy rock music, (oh weird thing was i was listening to Hindi music in the office today cos i thought we’re gonna watch a Hindi movie), happily putting on new bedsheets of turquoise and grey, hugged the pillows and sniffed fresh sheets.
And as if that wasn’t enough, i did some laundry.
At 2am.
Had a hard time trying not to imagine clowns crawling around the garden in the dark after reliving memories of the screwed up It video YC posted up.
-_-
I told Daddy my grand idea of getting racks into my room so that i could store more clothes.
He had a better idea of bolting them to the wall.
Doubtful, i questioned its strength, “Are you sure it can hold all my clothes?” “… What are they made of? Gold is it.” -_-
**************************
The giraffe in the office is still nameless.
Cute thing is he’s been moving (okay moved) around. I found him facing another side of the wall as i was walking to the bathroom the other day. “What are you doing here..? You must’ve been bad haven’t you. Someone put you on timeout in the corner.”
So i left him there.
These days he’s got a scarf on his head.
I suspect Jerome tied it on, cos it’s his style.
If it was DidiBuli she would’ve tied a shoelace on instead.
That’s her style by the way. Somehow nobody questions the black Adidas shoelace she tied around her forehead like a ninja last week.
But nah, she wouldn’t touch my giraffe, she hates my animals and keeps on bitching about Mr. Elephant adding her on Facebook when he’s just being friendly.
