My date for Friday night’s Melium Gala was Ming. I was so scared i’d be late for the show i packed my clothes and make up in my car before i left the house in the morning. In the evening i had time to drop by his house and we ate and got ready together (i love girly get-ready-together times!). I couldn’t decide which colour eyeshadow to apply, and Ming said blue would clash beautifully with my neon orange slip, so i swiped it on while he pranced around and catwalked up and down his room in high heels. I’m in awe of Ming’s high heel collection. It beats mine to a pulp since i’ve been favouring flats more than anything.
Ming in his Versace-esque shirt.
My make up is Chanel’s Vitalumiere foundation, MAC eyeliner + mascara, and Shu Uemura eyeshadows + eyebrow pencil.
Someone said they thought the FK jersey collection was boring, but i disagree. I can see where FK is going with this – wearable casual basics that can be packed easily for traveling. They’re not pushing the boudaries of design as we’ve seen these kind of dresses everywhere, but you know how cheapskate they tend to look. At least there’s a range now which is high quality. Plus it was stated in the Melium magazine you don’t need to iron them. Major plus point for me! All of Leftblock’s clothes are also made with the ‘no-need-to-iron’ feature in mind.
I hate ironing! I used to pile up all the clothes i had to iron, and just ended up not wearing them for months. Now i have a regular cleaner who also irons so i have no fear of the iron anymore.
I couldn’t recognise Irena when she came up to say hi! The last time i saw her she was heavily pregnant. Now her baby is 8 months old. And she’s happy she can drink again haha.
We left quite late to the Melium after party at The Estate @ Doubletree Hilton
Alex, me, Kyan, Shawn
We left at about 1:30am… and i felt like drinking some more but Ming had to go home as he had to work early next morn. I called Clem but his phone had run out of batt, as always. So i went home and started cooking Chinese herbal soup cos i felt like it. He came home shortly after and i tried to surprise him by hiding behind our kitchen wall. I say ‘tried’ cos he yelled out ‘I can see youuuu’ and i was baffled as HOW he knew i was there, i was so quiet! In my state, I forgot our ‘wall’ is frosted glass.

6 designers showed at Malaysia Fashion Week last Thursday night, but i’ll post the other runway pix up when i get the shots from photographer Kaze tomorrow. I was superrrrlateeee to Thursday’s show >.< Despite rushing home after work and shooting off to KL, i got stuck on Jalan Pudu for half hour. Felt really bad but i tried my best!
This red dress had really interesting drapes and folds that i’d love to slip into, but i have the body type that would drown in it and you’d lose me.
Looks like designer + mass store collabs have reached KL.
Veteran Malaysian fash designer Michael Ong designs an exclusive collection for Tesco which will go on sale for a limited time from Dec 15th onwards.
Price range: RM29 for sashes, RM99 for tops and bottoms, RM129 for dresses.
I’d do the dress on the far right. If i manage to get myself to Tesco. I usually shop at Village Grocer :p
We had our annual (because we’re too lazy/busy to do it more often!) at Ecoba last weekend!
Compared to the 8 vendors we had last year, we took on more vendors seeing Ecoba is a bigger space and had about 22 vendors – all friends who are shopaholics, fashion bloggers, boutique owners, accessory-crafters, etc.
Ringo aka Cheesie also joined the sale!

See more pix of her jewelry *here*
I’m such a sucker for cute babies. This girl wouldn’t let go of a tiny book i had, so i just gave it to her.
Not like i’m going to miss it anyway!
Despite what people think, i don’T want a baby yet okay! All my tweets regarding baby stuff was due to some research i had to do for a pitch at work! So i’m NOT baby-crazy or something. After all that extensive resesarch about pregnancy and birth, i know all the more i’m NOT ready for it yet. I still want to go on my euro summer trip next year and drink and partyyyyyy
Ooh nice striped top… maybe it’s good i didn’t see it :p
Steph took lots of pix with my cam cos i was too busy, thanks Stephy!

Jessica had these acrylic rings made in KL, and i bought the blue lightning bolt one.
Admittedly i scratched myself with it a few times that day.
NOT wearing it out when drinking that’s for sure!
I LOVE SNACK FOOD’s Ade
Aida and all her Things For Whenever
She’s got the cutest imported pop up books, notebooks, and all sorts of funky stuff that makes for great pressies
Now i know who to go to when i need to buy stuff for friends’ children.
Thanks to Rudy aka Ruud who went on the decks for a good couple of hours.
You can catch him spinning on his regular nights on Saturdays at Daikanyama, Changkat BB.
Melissa & Nadia from Pop.Muse.Sic also played music while opening a store that day!
Hmm okay i was really lazy later on in the day and abandoned my own booth to talk to people and get distracted by…
Thanks to Clem who came to help me carry all my stuff there at 10am despite him coming home from his guys’ night out when the sun rose. He was still intoxicated when he helped me -_-
