The circus is in town! “I almost knocked an elephant crossing the street” said Ryan “And saw three ponies on the side as well” Oh! The joy! Joyce’s eyes opened wide in excitement and glee “Really?! Really?!” It was all said at midnight.
At 1:30 am, Joyce’s mobile rang “Did you know? You can see the elephant from the outside!” exclaimed Ryan “It’s awake??” “Yes it is” “Oh hooray! Could you give Ben the directions?”
So she could go see the elephant of course.
Joyce bounces in her mamak seat Big Ben’s eyes widen Though not with the same enthusiasm More with trepidation on ‘What Joyce Will Do Next’ “No, Joyce. I’m not taking you to go see elephants… no, don’t give the phone to me… Hello Ryan.”
But first things first, Joyce had yet To finish her chicken soup in Dharoos Seven, not one more, not one less Mosquitoe bites Pressing stars on them didn’t help much “Stop scratching Joyce” “I can’t… it really itches” “Stop it right now, you’re making me scratch too”
Monkey see monkey do.
“Put your hands on the table. That’s it. Now finish eating.” Joyce’s hand slowly crept down to her ankle… Again. “You’re still scratching” Oh damn he noticed. “Well it’s really itchy” “Do you want to see the elephant or not?” Joyce promptly stops scratching.
So at three o’clock on a wee Wednesday morn Big Ben and Little Joyce went to visit Who? The elephant of course It was in its trailer in Bandar Utama Oh! An elephant! In BU!
Thoughts of Galliano’s Circus appeared in Joyce’s eccentric mind
“The elephants are smellie” “You would be too if your faeces were that size” “Wanna touch the elephant Joyce?” “Can’t. The trailer is too high” The bars of the trailer were wide “Well you could squeeze in” “Indeed i could” “And i could lift you up” “Indeed you could”
Around the circus they drove Are there any more extra sights? Unfortunately not So they started to head home
“Nobody sane will go to the circus” “Why not?!” “Because. Only little kids go” “I bet there’ll be grown ups too… the ones who erm take the kids…” “Yea. And there’ll be noone your age” “I don’t care. I’m going.” “You’re nuts” “Maybe i can see bears dancing” “Maybe *i* can dance in front of the bears huh” “Yea! Maybe if you dance, they’ll dance back, Ben” “Fuck you Joyce”
A loud roar permeated the four am night air Big Ben paused “That’s some scary shit”
But Joyce didn’t care Happy thoughts entered her head Filled with dancing bears Prancing ponies Soft lumbering ellies And other joyful circus-y stuff
My dreamweaver was almost the DEATH of me today… i rushed like crazy to college in the evening. I took a cab there. At 6 pm. In the rain. Marvellous. A cab. At 6 pm. In the rain. In the jam. A cab. In the jam.
Okay, you get the idea. And theN, in class, my file couldn’t open cos the links weren’t proper! *tries to control breathing*
After my shitty evening, i came home, slept my problems off (i always do that) till 10 pm. Then i went out to Barcode with Mary and Lisa to pick up our tix for the Kent rave at Bukit Tinggi this coming Sat. We went to Pan in State after that with Aaron and Bobby. We bitched and laughed and laughed and laughed so much. I swear laughing makes me drunk too.
Stan was telling me online that girls get breast cancer by drinking milk. whatttt?? Okay let me storytell about Stan before continuing. Stan is a big riot. Honestly, we laugh so much at his jokes and crap it’s amazing. He studies medicine and psychology. So in his books, he’s absolutely qualified to diagnose people. In fact, while we were out in Pan tonight, he called Bobby from Ipoh telling him a certain someone ‘is on the verge of a disorder because so-and-so fancies tense short-term relationships”
Omg. I laughed so much cos i’ve neVER heard anyone say something so seriously in a funny way before. No, no no! i’m not being mean! honestly, we were all laughing!
Okay i’m straying. So back to the breast cancer thing. I said to Stan, “i thought it was wearing a bra at home that was the problem?!” And he said, “well they discovered that girls who drink alotta milk have a high possibility of getting it too. Do you drink alotta milk?”
Oh daymn. I love drinking milk! Chocolate milk, strawberry milk, white milk, milk with kahlua… i love it all… *grumble*

Yes. That was free advertising.
You can get free advertising too if you buy Joyce ice-cream, alcohol and/or lollipops. Added plus is if you make her laugh as well.
After a strenous thursday and friday doing work continuously with only an hour’s sleep, i knocked out at midnight on FRIDAY.
Yes.
Joyce stayed home on Friday night. I woke up at an extremely decent hour at 10 am on Saturday morning. The first thing my dad said to me was, “Are you sick?”
*grr*
i went to college to hand up some work. I realise that being awake at noon on Saturday leaves me with few friends who aren’t in a comatose state. Aaron and Rudy wERE awake but they were doing their own stuff to I tried calling Mooky, Ash, Michelle, Mary and a few more before deciding to fuck it cos i couldn’t be bothered to try others.
I wanted to go to KLCC to search for a ring my mom gave me money to buy.
So.
Off i went by myself! I took the lrt (erm joyce can’t drive, see…) but i love love love going out and layaning myself to the max. I found the most perfect funky chic platinum ring and altogether spent a whopping 6 hours in klcc. I find it so liberating to go out alone… i spent three hours in kinokuniya filling my heart with inspiration and my eye with more beautiful images than i could take…
I actually laughed out loud reading this dialouge between two people that Paul Smith wrote regarding his ‘fake’ death of tripping over his frog and falling down his spiral stairs.
I told Aaron bout it and he said, “see… arty people are just TRIPPING y’know..” Oh, oh! Aaron took me for a buffet seafood dinner at Mine’s where i happily stuffed myself with oysters and orange juice *omfg*slurp* and lotsa other scrumptious seafood. We went to Atmos for the Kent thing after that. ThaNKS Edwin for getting me in! *muAH* Left for Barcode after that with Lisa, Mary, Gen and Seong cos Atmos was getting slow blek. Mediocre music does not a good night make. Barcode was so much better and we got to dance and dance and dance *hoorah!*
