I met up with JappyCalvin in 1 Utama for dinner after work this week We went to Seed Cafe for my usual smoked salmon salad
I miss hanging and bonding with Calvin! After those happy days when HotJason, him and i were so free Now our work only allows us to catch up about twice a month What a major difference compared to practically living with them They cooked and i did the dishes

I MUST stay at home more next week I went through my organiser and it hit me that i’ve stayed at home twice in the past two and a half weeks
It’s a pretty slow day in the office Going for some annual dinner in Shangri La later for work Since confirm there will be a nice 10-course dinner there or something similar My Master Plan today was to eat less for lunch

So many peeps were excited about the Salem Recharge Revelation Rave weeks before it…
Four of us were supposed to go down together Everyone was supposed to meet at my house at 3 pm to leave for Port Dickson Everyone followed Malaysian timing – half an hour late or more Including Mr. I’m-Brit-Yo-Adam
My cameras were charged The extra batteries packed My malibu in my HP water bottle for disguise (plus it’s plain lighter then the glass bottle)
So i took pictures of myself for fun

Finally at 5 pm -_- AdamPeterPan arrived first, he’s usually the punctual one I can’t stand it sometimes cos i’m always running helter-skelter late But i think it’s good cos he keeps me grounded and on time ๐
Oh btw, i’m thinking of just calling him AdamPoserPan It struck me cos… really la… i’m quite the poser…

At the beginning of the highway, i peered into the distance to see a fantastic jam building up rapidly Confirmed something *just* happened
It was a horrible horrible accident involving three cars
Since we were going so slowly anyWAY, i took a quick shot But when i saw some people pulling an injured guy to the side of the road… Then i stopped with an ‘urk’
We didn’t plan to stay the night cos it was not that far a drive back and Adam’d have rather slept at home So we crashed in some friends’ rooms for awhile
I tried taking a short catnap Suddenly heard the boys blasting Tiesto’sTraffic from next door I couldn’t tahan cos that song reminds me of happy dancing times with Gobi and Co. at Zoukout It’s even my ringtone for my Wonderboys (as opposed to Wondersluts) And bounded in to layan and feng and feed ConHan some Malibu
I walked faster then the others cos i needed to get to the mainstage by 11 pm to take pictures of ‘something that will happen’ according to LinusTheFrog
The rave didn’t have a VIP or media line Damn irritating *acts like brat*
I FINALLY got through and… lost everyone i was with Bumped into PassedOutBen, Ivan, Kelynn and Sam And POB temaned me around to take pictures
…. then poor him lost all the friends he came with too!

Still, fucking crowded = awesome for a rave But it was damn dark as well, making it damn diff to find people PLUS it’s supposed to be a beach rave… but there were clumps of grass and thorns all around Yes, there was sand But there was also all that shit around so i had to keep on looking at the ground so i wouldn’t trip and fall flat on my flowerhorn forehead
So many people were saying they couldn’t find/see me that night Well I’m short So unless i’s wearing Rita’s devil horns like i did in Zoukfest I doubt you would’ve spotted me easily
I got annoyed and tired fighting through the crowd like Xena Warrior Raver Remember muttering to myself “Salem events suck ASS. Dunhill all the way baby..”
I know some peeps dress differently to make themselves stand out from others… But a cloth face mask? That’s just cheap man.
Saw alot of heads turn to a particular area Where there were two girls in bikinis dancing away on the scaffolding I found them quite horrendous actually But took pictures anyway
PassedOutBen and i finally bumped into MaryBerry Who was as tipsy as a boat
Bumped into LinusTheFrog again who was there for work as well
PassedOutBen kept on reminding me of what a pest i was cos he had to follow me around to make sure noone kidnapped little me
But he was as happy as a pony and shut up after he met Johan Gielen

AdamPeterPan and I went for the press screening of Red Eye a week back It was so-so, a tad draggy in the middle But much better then The Stupid Cave I went for a Japanese lunch with EditorIan and PrincessAnna after that
Just as my food came, I got a call from the boyfriend “Hey, could you come outside a second?” So I popped outside and he handed me this huge box in a Toys R’ Us plastic bag “Ohmygod. What’s this?” I exclaimed
It was a pony
A huge big giant My Little Pony!!!
That laughs and giggles And yawns and burps And sighs (though I have to admit it sounds like a decadent moan)
It’s aMAZING!!! *eyes glint crazily*
I told LaughingLoga what Adam gave me and he was like, “What was he thinking?! It’s like giving a whistle to a 2-year-old!”

The other night I took it downstairs to bug Daddy with it “Good gosh, where did you get that? Giantland???” he stared at it disbelievingly “Adam gave it to me!” Then we both were trying to figure out how the pony makes the yawning sound when we’ve already put it down to sleep Daddy patted its legs, its body, its head but we couldn’t get it
In the end he strangled my pony by the neck and shook it I was like, “HeY!!!” cos just combed its hair nicely allยกK”
Then I brought the pony to the dining table where Mommy was marking test papers But she super tak layan weiยกK She didn’t even LOOK UP! :p In the end she did, asked where I got it and went ‘hmm’
AdamPoserPan was buying supper at the DriveThruMcDs I was annoying the heck out of him by making the pony laugh when I laugh So we both laugh together hahaHAHA!
The malay girl at the counter stared at him, then at the big ass pony in the car Adam felt damn shy cos he always goes there to buy supper and always from the same girl So he lamely tried to save the situation “ErยกK this is my cousin! My YOUNGER cousin! We’re urm very close!” I laughed and laughed and laughed And the girl laughed too, I don’t think she believed him

We were crossing the road to the restaurant at a busy junction I get paranoid about my handbag getting snatched nowadays So i clutched at my bag while watching out for motorcyclists Was so into looking out for motorcyclists…
I forgot to look out properly for cars -_- And Louis had to blar me to cross the road properly

I’m getting awfully into Nip/Tuck, i can’t stop watching episode after episode now
AdamPeterPan and I planned to go for a nice dinner in the city But we went to Kinokuniya @ KLCC first cos he wanted to buy comics and I wanted to check out new books
The moment we both stepped past the threshold of the heavenly book store We gave each other a quick kiss and parted ways He stalked off to the comics and magazine section
And I hopped, jumped and skipped off to the children’s book section
I love love love poring over kids’ books So many inspiring illustrations That go hand-in-hand with stories that remind us that life comes down to simple pleasures at times
Most of the books were wrapped up Dammit And the good ones that *weren’t* were already taken by all the kiddies sitting around
I looked down at the books next to them for awhile And they all peered suspiciously back up at me with big eyes At this 22-wannabe-8-year-old in a deep pink elegant dinner top Invading their territory
I decided against sneaking one of the books from them to read In case they start wailing bloody murder and i get attention from parents and store clerks 0_o
So i trudged upstairs and happily settled down with some interior and fashion design books Some guy picked me up at the interior design section
“Nice tattoo,” said he “Thank you.” said i “What’s your name?” he asked “Joyce.” i replied
He asked whether i was local I said yes rather curtly and politely He said he was looking for books on office interior design I didn’t quite believe him but no matter He said he couldn’t find them I suggested he inquire at the desk for help :p
Adam and i left for dinner at around 8 pm We initially wanted to go to the restaurant across BonTon Saw that it was malay food and didn’t feel like it So we went to Frangipani @ Changkat Bukit Bintang instead since i’ve never eaten there Yummy delectable cuisine in small portions that was kinda ex
