Happy Birthday Ing Hui
You’re only 22. -_- Selart.
Mmmf….
I damn stress now
But ugh i won’t blar about it here *hops over to private blog*
In order to reduce the stress somewhat
I edited a picture i took last Monday in Tanah Lot, Bali
Lots of dead fish were washed up during low tide
DivaAdrian is crouching in the background
He missed the silver fishie calling out for us
“Help me… Adrian can’t hear me!!” said the fish. His name was Tim. I thought it rather an odd name for a fish. But he insisted it was.
“I’m sorry.” I replied rather curtly, “But i’m using both hands to hold the camera… and i don’t want to get your fishy stench on it!”
“You…… bit… ch…” it wheezed (do fish wheeze?) before dying.
I shrugged before exclaiming to Adrian that he’d just missed a talking fish.
Damn pei
Making up stories at 4am
Gonna start talking to my giraffe soon

BubblesAmanda Is Still Crazy
Even tho she turns 30 today.
30, right?
Did i get it wrong…
29?
29 still sounds nicer innit
:p
Happy Birthday darling!
*flings fairy arms around powerpuff girl*
Last night was… shameless to say the least
>_<
You know your friends are party addicts when you get emails like so:
Hi!
Y’all are invited to a party at our pad Friday, as it’s our dog’s birthday. Homey will turn 5. (He digs fried chicken)

Lonelyyy, I’m So Lonelyyyy
Not.
My first two days alone in Bali was everything i’d hoped for
Happy happy joy joy pottering about all by myself
Upon reaching the airport, i tried not to look around in obvious bewilderment on where to grab a taxi
Saw a white dude calling for his driver
Seemed he’s from here so i approached him asking where to grab one from
He’s really helpful and we started talking
Offered to get his driver to drop me off at my inn
After sizing him up and him giving me his namecard (he’s doing guest relations for the Grand Hyatt in Bali)
I figured the chances of him knocking me out with ethanol and kidnapping me weren’t very high
So i accepted and got dropped off right away
Fantastic
First half hour alone in a country i’ve never been to and i’m still alive
Okay.
I checked in, praying that Masa Inn would be as nice as the pictures were on their website
And you know what?
It didn’t look half too bad in the dark! (i arrived past 7pm)
Aircon (i cannot tahan without), fridge, hot water, CABLE TV!, no weird smells
Pool ten steps from my front door, breakfast provided
Perfect.
For RM60 a night (it’s cheaper if you’re staying with someone)
There was noone to take a picture of me
So i took one of myself la
Haven’t camwhored by myself for ages anyway
I wrote this in my Moleskin:
“The inn is amazing! Was just *censored* outside and even tho deserted, in 5 mins a dude with curly blond hair walked pass and said a friendly ‘hullo’. An old couple said hi too. They’re both staying on either side of me. Kevin should be here!! He’d love it!! The place is gorgeous like you wouldn’t believe and it’s still at night. I bet it’s even more idyllic in the daytime.”
I didn’t want to wander far when it was dark
So i just bought a SIM card and an adaptor
Before going back to the room to chill out, write, read and watch American Idol
Spent all afternoon lying around the pool and reading
Decided to meet up with the Russian dude, Dmitri, i met the night before for an early dinner after his work
He said to meet up at Discovery Mall (one of the nicest malls in Bali)
But i’m not one for malls on holidays
Malls are the same everywhere
I don’t see the point of going to a mall when you can sightsee things different from your homeland
But he said there’s a nice cafe there so okay la
Being 25 minutes late, he brought me flowers
-_-
Not being an ungrateful bitch or anything… but i don’t like receiving flowers
I think its damn unnecessary and pretentious
The only times i actually liked flowers been given to me was when they were sent to my house by surprise from two friends i love dearly
I hate getting flowers
I’d rather take pictures of them in a field
Oh, and i hate Valentine’s Day also >_<
So flowers on Valentine’s Day is the ULTIMATE sangat tak suka langsung for me
I mean, of course, when people give it, i’d just smile and thank them graciously
“Oh… you shouldn’t have!”
And i really mean it when i say they shouldn’t have
-_-
And being the hoarder i am, i tend to keep the dry petals for GodKnowsWhat and end up throwing them away years later
Funny thing is, *i* like giving flowers
But bought from the market (cheaper wut), wrapped by yours truly or presented in a nice vase
Then that’s nicer right?
Ok ok stop bitching bout flowers
I LIKE FLOWERS
I like buying flowers for myself in the market and putting them in vases
Or snapping nonsensical pictures of them
Just not from an expensive florist in a bouquet
:p
Ok ok stopppp
We chatted in this cafe, called ‘Clear’ or something, that overlooked Kuta beach
Really nice and chilled out
See the mountains in the background? *gushes*
After blahing about family history, work and all that jazz
We walked around before taking a taxi to this really nice restaurant called Sky Garden on Legian road/street/whatever
This place was awesome too
I brought the other three monkeys back there on Sunday night
Huge array of Western food, sublime juice mixes and shakes (Adrian went back there the night Anna and i flew back)
This is Dmitri
Before i left Bali, i introduced him to ClownAlvin and DivaAdrian
So they were left hanging out and milking him for all his knowledge’s worth on tourist information in Bali
I hope they didn’t bully him too much
0_o
Friday Morning
I wandered around Kuta and Legian
It’s all very quaint
Many many inns and guesthouses to stay at
But the shops there sold alot of the same crap save for a few that had quirky treasures
Ok blog the rest another time
‘Tis Funny How
Seeing certain animals remind you of particular friends
I see frogs and Linus comes to mind
I see butterflies and Kim pops into my head
I see a pug and… i don’t have to say who i’m reminded off
In Bangkok, i saw these porcelain rabbits for sale in Chatuchak
And took a shot for Lynnzter

Holiday-Addicted

zooming in on my tootsies and the infinity pool at the Ritz
Sigh, i’m back
Wish i could stay for another day though, as lepaking by the pool would have been awesome
I met and bonded with new friends over the weekend in Bali
The nicest is when everyone is so different and yet get along grandly
There was the tiny madcapper with the flawless skin, gorgeous voice and 22/7 party mode (cos out of 24 hours, 2 are for sleep)
There was the loud chinaman who spurted rubbish (and farts) on a quest to find a Japanese chick in Bali
Then you have the diva newscaster who corrects all your pronunciation errors and has sarcastic bitching oozing out of every pore
The female photographer with muscles, curly hair and gorgeous shots
A sexy stockbroker with a drawling voice and a penchant for a Datuk (hee hee kidding ler… *cough*)
And a ridiculous fairy who decided to lug home a giraffe as tall as her
Of course, there were many others, but those were the ones i spent most of my time with
A quickie of some pics before i run out for meetings
Congratulations to Ryan Chong & Daphne Iking!

WhackyDaph looked stunning (as expected) last Saturday

moi, Doress, Ida, Nafta, Melissa

Alvin emceed the wedding
Unbeknownst to some, he’s wearing a chinaman singlet under his blazer
But of course everyone knew after he threw it off complaining it was too hot
While waiting for a room that tak jadi thanks to GENIUS ClownAlvin for not booking beforehand
AnnaCanBeatMeUp
It just seems apt that she works for Adidas and is as fit as hell
AnnaCanBeatMeUp and ClownAlvin were missing at Tanah Lot
So DivaAdrian and i managed ourselves a camwhoring pic of sorts
Can you see?
It was damn 7 hot
I came back with two dresses, four pairs of sandals, heaps of pictures, ciggies for Ash (who already left -_-), vodka for me, a neck rash and a sunburn
