Was super tired when i arrived (late, cos of prior appointment) And you know you’re in one of those states when you’re so tired – but you show up anyway cos you never know what might happen that night, or who you might meet, or something someone might say to inspire you about anything – and you end up not being in a chatty mood cos your mouth is physically tired?
Yeah. That was me that night. Plus i was so good to turn down beer during dinner too, cos i felt that i needed a break from alcohol for just ONE DAY.
Failed.
Had one wine. Then a Guinness.
Then started la.

Made a pinkie promise with Rob, so we all adjourned to Zeta after that Mike

Ended up passing out on the couch in Dax’s gallery at 5am
Damn fail. So much for going home early cos i’s tired.
I feel like a rechargeable Duracel bunny. Will be outstation till Monday night. Back to work on Tuesday. Lap Sap on Wednesday night. Flight to Kuching on Thursday night (crap haven’t picked up my air tix from KL Sentral yet). Cover Rainforest Festival till Sunday night. Fly back Monday afternoon. Back to work on Tuesday. Fly off to Koh Samui on following Thursday for ‘team-building’.
Thank God i’m not forking out for any of these trips.
Been partying WAY TOO MUCH the past week. I managed to abstain from having beer with DramaticKim during dinner last night (miracle!) but failed when i went to the Aaliya launch, Zeta, then Dax’s gallery.
No time to blog, have to run out again. Will post pics when i’m more free.
Here’s something i wrote sometime back.
No thanks to losing all my contact numbers, i dug out ALL the namecards i have sitting in piles around my room and sorted them out in the office. I divided them out into different piles for easy reference – the media, the ones in advertising, fashion, finance, IT, hair, event management, design, entertainment outlets, marketing, production, so on and so forth.
There’s damn alot okay. There are some weird ones that don’t belong in any particular pile.
B ecause i looked so pitifully drowned doing it, DatinTini gave me a hand.
“This… ah here,” she chucked a card unto the advertising pile. I glanced at it to make sure it was correct and instantaneously grabbed it up. “Pernod Ricard? No! Oh my god! This goes *here*.” I plonked the card down on another pile. “What’s that?” “What’s that?! OH MY GOD. Okay okay, see this?” i jabbed at the company name in urgency, “THIS ONE MUST REMEMBER OKAY! Pernod Ricard! Riche Monde! Cool Merchant! They provide the alcohol! OI! MUST REMEMBER!!!”
All batteries Camera battery, phone batteries, fairy battery. Been out so much in the office and events that i’ve barely been at home At all. Keep on after-partying and passing out in people’s apartments.

I think it’s the first time two of my colleagues and i dragged our friends out together and it was madness. It was pure PRing and social slutting with beers in our hands. I ran off to shake my booty with DatinTini and Tyler when someone stared at us and asked, “Is it a prerequisite to be able to dance in your company?”
Events were early on Fri and Sat I pissed myself off grandly trying to put on a different type of falsies Never guessed that the feathery ones with shorter bands would be so tough to affix I took about 10 minutes (which is long!) and was thinking, “Oh my god can die wei put this on i don’t care i’m going to take a picture of my efforts!!!”

Went to see my puggy and the KLue crew at the Martell RSVP dinner @ Marketplace Then i ran (late) to Banana Republic launch, Chinoz for a bit, Jimmy’s party, then Bass Agent-layaning and finally TAG.
