Solidarity Vigil Tonight

“Please attend the following peaceful solidarity vigil in support of Burma’s people, who are unable to exercise their human rights in their country, and to express our opposition towards the Burma military junta’s bloody crackdown on anti-government protests. At least 13 people were killed and hundreds arrested in the crackdown on demonstration of Buddhist monks and Burma’s people.

The vigil is an initiative of civil society organisations, including Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM), Civil Rights Committee of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH-CRC), Youth For Change (Y4C) and Amnesty International (AI) Malaysia.

Please come to show your solidarity. Please bring candles, candle-holders and banners.

Actually… i thought more then that were killed… i spent last weekend reading up and read this blog on how they killed almost 200 monks in one of the monasteries on the outskirst (damn should have saved the link).

I’m blogging the many pics taken in Atrium last week
But i JUST HAD to put up a couple of pictures i took and edited last weekend because i can’t stand my blog not having *some* pictures!

It was last Sunday.

Procrastination and restlessness tend to find its way to me when i attempt (i say attempt, because that’s usually what it is – an attempt) to finish an article way before deadline.

I ended up sitting on the kitchen floor, staring out into the garden and taking in the afternoon breeze.
Saw a trail of ants marching in and crouched on the floor, seeing where and what all the hype was about.
What? What is it?!

They’d found a grain of rice i’d dropped from lunch earlier.

Lying stomach down on the floor, i watched them attempt (hey! we have something in common!) to lift the grain home.

Nur and i happened to be talking about ants and i uploaded the pictures right away to show her. Tagged Shah, Mira, Kevin and her as the ants and me as the grain of rice they were lifting. Nur damn emo. She said i berat diva. I said she’s weak. Hee hee.

I left them to continue attempting to carry their prize home.
Offered help but they didn’t want to reveal where they stayed so… okay lor.

I went back into the kitchen an hour later to find… nothing.
Ants gone. Rice gone.

Sweet.

My New Site

I don’t really like it.
It’s not *me* at all.
I’ve given up getting the person who’s supposed to design it to how i am in the first place to complete it’s look cos it’s obviously not happening.

It’s NOT me at all.
All my friends who’ve viewed it beforehand have said so as well.

But.
I’m just going to start blogging there whilst YC is doing me a great favour by helping me change its look.

Oh. I blogged one short post there so far.

The Three Cs

I’m still in the office socialising on Facebook and compiling the guestlist for our next event.
My stomache was whining so i went to 7-Eleven to get chocolate.

I came back with beer. *looks around for cameras in office*

Waiting for IceCalvin to finish sourcing for his shoots so we can go have din din.

Was listening to Radiohead (then it got a bit depressing) so i changed to The Proclaimers, and now the Disney soundtracks.

OH FINALLY

Stupid Xanga is back up.
I went through Blog Withdrawal Symptoms.

First it was nonchalance.
Then came aggravation.
Then utter anger. (me going ROAR AND ARGHHHH to Kevin)
After that i gave in to it. (going *sob* and *cry* to Kevin.)

Kevin just went -_- the whole time.

Oh oh and my car couldn’t start two days ago and Cycle + Carriage had to come tow it away from my house.
So i was lamenting to Kevin, “No blog… no car… no pug… 🙁 “ (cos he didn’t wanna layan me)
Kevin: So emo.

And it wasn’t just mine. I emailed and msged the Xanga team and on their comments box, premium users the world over were saying the same thing – that a blank white page of death appeared instead.

Stupid Xanga. I msged saying how can they allow something of this nature to happen to bloggers who PAY for their accounts.

Ugh.

Anyway no time to bitch more.

So much work to do i’m drowning and falling sick.

ps – fuck dman hard to work in the office with DatinTini and the other girls kacauing me about shopping and discounts and things. -_-

3 AM

I took a nap at midnight ‘cos i was quite tired.
Accidentally overslept till now.
Worst thing is, while walking down the steps in the dark to the PC, the recollection of this amazingly creepy ghost story TattleShantini told me earlier today appeared in my head.

Dammit. Dammitdammitdammit.
And freaked myself out silly.

A bit of a grouchy fairy because i have to be awake extra early BECAUSE my car battery is flat when i didn’t even leave the lights on or anything and the indicator didn’t show.
So have to call C&C to come and/or take a taxi to work.

I know my blog has been down most of Monday and i don’t know why and i wasn’t really bothered by it at all till people started smsing/MSNing and bothering me about it when, heck, i really don’t know. I can log in but i can’t view it publicly myself.
