Flying to London

Comments (2) Travel

I left for London on Wednesday morning and will be here for three weeks till early May. Reason i’m here is for a reunion and 25th Anniversary of Chilworth Communications – an ad agency i interned in in 2000. I had a 3-hour transit in Doha, cos i took Qatar Airways, and played with the Olympus camera (that Clem bought me) for the first time.

It’s got even more funky filters than my Pen 3! And i think it’s so awesome that it’s waterproof and shockproof, seeing how much intoxicated debauchery it will be taking pictures of.

Doha airport is massive with lots of shopping opportunities. I walked around to stretch my legs but steered clear of buying anything this time round.

They even have a kiddy area! If Y were with me i would have got us to run in together.

The cam has got this cool flip filter! I need to give my cam a name soon.. it says ‘Tough’ on its front but i think it deserves something else.

Ok as you can tell, i think it’s my favourite filter right now!

I always look forward to the food on Qatar Airways. Every meal is delicious and i know… cos i’ve taken the same airline numerous times on separate trips to Italy, Spain, England and France. This is probably my fifth return flight with Qatar.

I have to tell you something really amazing.

Months ago, i was preparing to buy my air flight to London. On the VERY DAY i told myself “I must buy my plane tickets this week”, i got a message from Shah at Nuffnang, saying Qatar Airways wanted to sponsor me a return flight to anywhere in Europe within the year. I was like, “NO WAY!!!!” Cos it was PERFECT timing and it would save me a lot of money that i can put towards my house and business bills.

Another plus point is that they’re flying me home on Business Class so i’ll be blogging about that in May ๐Ÿ˜€

Everyone can’t believe how lucky i am, including myself. Tianna said i manifested it, and i said, “How? I need to know so i can do this again!”

Haha! More posts on London to come soon! Thank you for taking me here Qatar Airways!
