Having the discipline to avoid going into Key Ng for a few months now, i gave in and trotted into one of his outlets at The Curve
And spotted the most darling little corporate dress there
Sleeveless black with stark thin lines of bold colours running down it
I tried it on despite it being an ‘S’ (Key Ng’s ‘XS’ fits me perfectly)
It was too big

I suggested aloud that perhaps, just perhaps, i could get it altered
QueenKanch went behind me to gather up the loose cloth
“Cannot, cannot. You have to alter so much, no point.”
“Sigh.”

They sold out in XS in black, and in white (i would have resorted to the white), and in all their stores (made the staff call the other stores)

Out of desperation, i called Key Ng himself, thinking that MAYBE he’s got an extra stashed somewhere
“Don’t have la… we have very exclusive number of pieces… next time you must go earlier!”
“Argh!”

This is what happens when you abstain from window-shopping and *then* go
Your size runs out due to popularity

I took it a bit slower, and tried my best to relax one weekend
It was sunny, then it rained, but i didn’t mind ‘cos i had my chirpy stripey umbrella from M&S with me
I feel really chuffed everytime i carry it 

FaiTheMai got checked out of the hospital and QueenKanch fetched him to have banana leaf rice with DramaNadia and i

Went to thread our eyebrows
Looked through some of the boutiques and refrained from buying clothes
Failed from refrain when it came to shoes
Went to Kitsch to show DramaNadia the other shoes there

I picked out a MrMen shirt to show them
“Hey! I wanna buy this! It’s PERFECT FOR ME!!!”

They turned around and choked before laughing super loudly

What i really should wear is

I thought i was the Utter Klutz
I can trip while walking on flat road (i have. And hurt myself badly too >_<)

And stumbled while standing still

I’ve never in my life seen someone almost fall down while standing still

She looked around to make sure nobody noticed…
And saw me pressing my lips from chortling at her

Wanted to put up these pics for so long but lack of time!

Girlie night out is the best.
Scrumptious food, wine, desserts and of course, rib-tickling crazy laughter and decadent stories.
But the stories are secret *shh*

Also, it’s so tough getting us all out at the same time due to schedules and such.

I don’t have a sweet tooth so i wasn’t as crazy crazy over the arrival of the desserts as much as the others, esp. DhanyaTheMonkel

But i have to admit rather sheepishly that after having a bite of the Pavlova and the Pear & Ginger Upside Down Pudding…
I’m a goner

We all adjourned to Velvet after that to dance to Mambo
The music is so temperamental nowadays… one minute they’re playing happy retro, then suddenly rock a bit

Breaking our groove la.

Okay my arm looks kinda freakish here.

Piling our handbags next to us allows dancing with abandon.

Oh yeah.
We DANCED SO MUCH all our feet hurt the next day!
We didn’t even need alcohol to dance!
Everyone was just so hyper crazy happy already!

They are darling, more then enough.

Dhanya danced so much, i should call her the Duracell Bunny!
Hmm. That is possibly a better cartoon name for her.
She didn’t even drink a drop that night!

But even Duracell Bunnies’ feet get tired.

Can’t wait for the next one.
It’s like an adrenaline rush that’s healthy for you.
Easygoing laughter, crude jokes, nonsense dance moves that we manage to convince people are cool.
