In Opposition To “TP”

Last year, Smellie used to call me TP
This year, FK came into place
I forgot how, but he calls me FK all the time now

Sometimes he calls me Chicken Little
*thinks*
Actually, he calls me Chicken Little all the time
Everytime i pick up the phone, he yelps out “Chicken!” or “FK!”

FK stands for Fat Kid or Fei Kai (amazingly enough he found that FK could represent that too = fat chicken)

Almost everyday we repeat the same stupid conversation

“FK! How’s FK doing today?!”
“Can you stop  calling me FK -_- So not romantic. Why can’t you call me nice names like ‘gorgeous’, or ‘sexy’?”
“Cos FK suits you more!”

Bastard boyfriend.

Now when i recall what TP means, i definitely prefer TP to FK

to one of my food reviews the other day
Oh yeah she tagged along to another one last last week as well
But so weird, people were pushing cakes at her and she didn’t want to eat *any*
Then sometimes, she’s stuffing her face with cake cake cake everyday

This time round we had giant prawns, caviar and foie gras with red and white wine
Foie gras!
I adore foie gras!
And Kanchy didn’t want any of her foie gras so i had two servings!

Apparently, i was smiling away to myself
I didn’t know i was smiling to myself… with the foie gras melting in my mouth hand-in-hand with red wine, i was in my own little happy world

Out of nowhere she said, “Yeah, i like the song too.”
I turned to her, “Huh? What are you talking  about??”
“You’re smiling to the song is it?”

How different our wavelengths are at times  -_-

“…No! I’m smiling cos of the foie gras…”
“Siao.”

I used to benci Smellie’s gay-looking shirts, but now i quite fancy them
I remember this shirt he wore on one of our first dates, this white one with tiny prussian blue flowery patterns on them – they looked like bluebells
He claims they’re not bluebells but i still say they look very much like fairy bluebells

No. It wasn’t the fairy-like flowers on his shirt that got me okay

Loowee on the other hand likes wearing t-shirts inside shirts
James and him seem to like doing that alot…

Work Dot Dot Dot

Finally i won one to football

“What are you doing later?”
“Playing futsal probably.”
“Okay…”
“I won’t play if you don’t want me to…”
“No it’s okay. You made plans already, go play la.”
“Sure?”
“Yeah.”

So i sat around the house, tampered with my work here and there
Can’t get much done on Sunday when all the PR people are off
I really missed him
We’re always so involved in our own things, his work, my work, my events i have to show face at, the football matches, the shoots
It all clashes and it makes me moody that i can’t see him as much as i would like
And when we do see each other, we end up passing out from exhaustion while talking to each other
So much for quality time
🙁

I called him back half an hour before his game
“What are you doing?”
“Getting ready for futsal…”
“Don’t need to go.”
“Okay… i won’t.”
“You just played yesterday. And you play on Friday nights. Not enough is it. When was the last time you had dinner with me? Do you remember?”
“No….”

So we went for dinner at Jarrod & Rawlins
A little French boy was making faces at us on our left while a table of Indian dudes debated loudly about movies or something
I was contemplating whether i should stay over
I really wanted to
Really really wanted to… just cuddle and fall asleep
But after discussion, we both decided that i should stay at home to plough through my work plus he has to get up extra early for work tomorrow

Seeing you tonight was like drinking a glass of wine at a party and not able to drink anymore the entire night

I’m Sorry

But i became one of those annoying people who watch football in clubs last night
I couldn’t help it!
It was England!

“I’m from England! Of course i’m going to root for them!”
“Friend. You’re in Merrr-lay-sia,” scolded PassedOutBen
“So what. Malaysia doesn’t even have a team in the World Cup.”

“It’s not about gambling. And i don’t like football. It’s about patriotism,” i told YC in earnest
“So you’re Bri-ish now are you?” she mocked me

Who’s the one running off to BKK now you tell me? *wiggles eyebrows*

I can’t believe how layan i was…
I even went to the bathroom only during halftime
I sipped my beer with eyes glued to the screen
I accidentally had a salah moment and cheered, “Go England!” while pumping my fist towards PassedOutBen at the console
I smsed my aunt in Barcelona the scores

And when they lost i didn’t want to talk about it and just layaned the beer

England is out
Don’t reckon i’ll be watching anymore matches
