Exactly a year ago, Joyce’s household was in Chinese New Year spring-cleaning chaos

7 Hours @ Vogue

I was bored bored bored last night
And i didn’t feel like staying in (as usual)
So i went to Vogue @ Uptown to have a glass of wine with Jovin at 8 pm

It started raining and i called KeithRaymond in glee
“It’s raining!!!! You can’t play tennis!!!! HAHAH!! You have to come have a drink with meeee!!!” i crowed evilly

He was seriously annoyed it rained but he came anyway
We had wine all night
Except for when itchy Jovin had a shot with me
“On a Monday night? Dowan!”
“Drink only! One only!”

-_-

“Keith, what time you wanna leave?” i asked around 9 something
“Early la, 11 something like that. Got to get up early tomorrow.”
“Yeah me too, i gotta renew my passport.”
(oh ya i didn’t make it monday morning :p )

Ended up we left at 3 something.

I spent SEVEN HOURS in Vogue

Walau-eh.

I woke up at 7 15 this morning.
I do not remember for the life of me the last time i woke up this early

As i padded along Damansara Heights to the immigration office, i sniffed the air

It was morning air!

Oh my fucking god, i haven’t smelt morning air since… Hungry Ghost Month and i had to go to the temple
And even then, i didn’t *wake up* per se
More like just came back from partying and went straight :p

I didn’t feel my age today
Daddy insisted on teman-ing me
to renew my passport
Bought me brekkie at the mamak
And held out the pen to me as i wrote my IC number down

“Are you sure your height in your old passport is correct?” he daddy-ied me
“Correct la, 155 cm.”
“I guess don’t need to change cos you’re not growing any more taller right?” he slyly inserted
“OI.”

It’s so quick to renew your passport now!

I just had to let the machine read my old passport and IC at once, remove it
Place my thumbs to let the machine scan them
(Whereafter i wiped them consciously on my jeans. Germs wei.)
Chuck in my photo
Chuck in RM 300 (for five years worth)
And TADA!
Ready to be collected tomorrow

I was opening my purse to place the money on the machine when Daddy whipped out six 50s
“Why? Don’t need la, i withdrew already.” I interjected
“Nevermind la.”
He waved me away and slipped the money into the rich government machine.
I felt damn bad.
22 and my father is paying for my passport

Daddy even walked me upstairs to show me where to collect it
-_-

“Why are we here for? Oi, i KNOW where to collect it la! I can READ THE SLIP!!!”
“Just showing you mar.”

I guess i’m still Daddy’s Little Girl.

Daddies are such sweet people. I know deep down inside we’re all still daddies little girl. There are times when it sucks and there are times when it just makes your heart melt. My dad introduces me to his friends as his little girl… and sometimes it’s little brat!

Does that make me Daddy’s little girl too? :-p

I’m not sure about the second floor (that’s where you had to go, yah?), seemed like a lot of people but I dunno how well they were being served. We had to go to the fourth floor to settle something about my bf’s passport. Our number came up quickly but we still got stuck there for an hour cos service so slow… “-_-
