Penang Last Saturday Night
We left the city of kl at 7 pm and arrived in the island of Penang at 10 pm
First thing we did was meet up with Frostie + his chick Joey to gobble down hawker food at Gurney Drive
I had curry laksa without my favourite ingredient in it
They ran out
Wtf right
And what is my favourite ingredient, you ask?
It’s coagulated pork’s blood
*waits patiently for everyone to go ‘ewww’*
Eh don’t knock it till you’ve tried it, it’s not as gross as it sounds!
Okay, prollie the reason i love it so much is cos Daddy used to feed me it when i was much younger and staying in Penang
And i never knew what it was
By the time i found out it’s ACTUAL ORIGIN at the age of nine, it was too late.
I was hooked.
It’s like these gorgeous soft, rubbery cubes of brown that float around your curry gravy.
Anyway fuck, i’m just thinking of the amount of people telling me how gross they think it is after reading this
I’m just professing my liking for it okay
Not like i’m asking you to eat oso.

Anyway
Right after supper, we met up with the rest of Adam’s friends
Rushed to this glass sculpture exhibition where there was finger food, drinks galore and artsy-looking people milling around socialising
Was in some loft hidden above an art studio (i presume, i wasn’t paying too much attention)
KinkyPugKevin was amusing
I was just getting to know him then
And the moment we both almost mistook a glass sculpture for a place to put our glasses on,
I knew we’d have a meaningful relationship shining ahead of us (OMG I THINK mixing with adam is seriously making me corny like fuck)
*harrumph*
So anyway, one of the conversations i remember went like this-
Kevin: I don’t really like the wine…
Joyce *sips*: Yea… it’s a bit on the rough side. At least it’s dry. I don’t like sweet wine.
Kevin *looks around despairingly*: How ar…
Joyce *continues sipping*: Huh? You want to get rid of the wine?!
Kevin *stares at me*: Oh yea. I remember i read you drink everything!
Joyce: Oi!
It wasn’t too bad la okay.
It was bearable.
He was just being whiny 
Then we hurried off to Soho something something after that to drink somemore

While Kevin and i trotted downstairs hoping to get in a few good songs to slut to
No such chance
Damn disappointing man
The Koay Teow Th’ng picked my mood up after that tho *yum*

haha, i know what you mean. my boyfriend loves cougulated pork’s blood, and i did try one of them once, but imagine eating them, whilst thinking about pig blood being processed and suppressed into that tiny cubic thing.. heheh okay i shall stop π‘

i went to penang lotsa times just for the food back then.. gurney drive has lotsa nice foodstall.. but have u go to a place infront of Sunway Resort (in penang)? there’s lotsa nice and deliciouzz stalls there as well.. alot better than gurney drive..:)
