The launch was a success! Or so people told me…

Joleyn and i were terrified that it would be too crowded.
We invited 350 people thinking not everyone will rsvp, and 340 ppl did.

The worst thing we’d want for our launch is the venue being too crowded and cramp, cos that just won’t be cool!
So we stopped letting guests bring friends (sorry!) and hoped there’d be a dropout rate of 20% to make space.

Here’s one picture first, taken at the Tongue in Chic photo wall.
We had an area where Shawn Cutler (Fei and gang) were designated to do up hair for guests, scarves (courtesy of moi), feather boas and all sorts of hats (courtesy of Daniel Henry) were put out for people to throw on and take camwhoring pictures.

It was super fun and the colourful boas really did it!

Everytime i came out of that area to continue socialising, i’d have different scarves and hats thrown onto me.

Shane and Carmen the terrapins have proved entertaining.
They haven’t been eating much though, which is worrying me.

Me: Why are they so still… *stares at them in office during afternoon*
Wan: Maybe they’re sleeping. *layans annoying colleague who places pets on his table cos hers is too messy*
Me: But they were sleeping all day yesterday! *continues staring at terrapins*

I hear a scoff from the side and see DidiBuli shaking her head in exasperation.

RowdyRudy: You’re right, i’ve been staring at them and they’re not eating.
Me: Maybe they’re anorexic.
RowdyRudy: What else do you think? They came from a fashion party.

LV Event @ Starhill
CherubicCho asked me teman him to the LV event tonight with him.
Not like i can buy anything there.
The only LV bag i have is that super kuchi rat small one.
Which i don’t even use that much cos… i don’t know, the classic monogram doesn’t suit me and seems so poser.
I feel like painting on it *hears gasps*

But i *did* see something that made me pounce on it and coo.

From the monogram vernis collection:

RM3,200.

“It’s nice!”
“It’s also 3k. That’s like, my expenditure for a month okay.”

If i buy that, then i can’t eat, pay for petrol, go for massages, drink, or go out at ALL for a month.
And what WOULD I DO WITHOUT my wine and Guinness after work?!
Shock. Horror. Alcohol starvation.

Cannot.

Anyway, they had a casino theme going on.
Right down Cho’s alley, the poker fanatic he is.

They gave us LV money, with which we exchanged for LV chips to use to gamble.
When we wanted to (intentionally) lose our chips so we could go eat, Cho kept on winning.

Read While Waiting Project
Zain HD asked me to be videoed for his Read While Waiting project, aimed at promoting well, (the title says it already!) the habit of reading while waiting.

He also invited me to go on The Breakfast Show (which WhackyDaph hosts! ) with him and Jules from Fly FM.
The thought of having to be at the tv station in Shah Alam (damn. going to get lost i swear) by 8:30 am wasn’t very appealing to me… but i caved in after 10 minutes on the phone.

Which means…
I should be sleeping now.
Ta!
