LV’s prefall media preview was held on the penthouse floor of one of the many menara buildings in KL city. A few minimalist rooms were filled up with countless Louis Vuitton pieces from their latest and past collections, and presented ala an art exhibition. If you’re an LV-lover, it would have been your mini Disneyland come true.

The prefall 2013 collection carries on the silhouettes from its previous SS collection, and are inspired by the 19th Century yet carefully crafted to be completely modernized. You’ll notice a lot of lace elements – whether in trompe-l’œil print, on jacquard or tweed. Other luxurious details like samplings of mink, rhinestone studs, velvet ribbon and feathers are reminiscent of the refinement embraced in the late nineteenth century.
