Life’s Good with 3D TV

Comments (1) Sponsored Post

I recently did this (kinda embarrassing) bimbo statement. I saw some scenery in front of me so awesome, i blurted out – “It’s like 3D!” When, DUH. Obviously it looks like  3D cos it IS, Joyce. *smacks self*

But you know what i mean by saying that right? When an image is so beautiful and colourful and crisp, because that’s what we’ve learnt 3D TV looks like. Sometimes… it seems even BETTER than real life, which is an all time cheater. Kinda like Instagram. But everyone loves it anyway, cos who doesn’t want to have a better view of anything and everything?

I wrote about 3D TV on my blog a few years ago, when it was really new to everyone then. You could see we were all waiting for the models to get better, have more functions, and for all the brands to smoothen out their kinks before we all start the move over to 3D TV.

Face it, it’s gonna happen no matter how long you’re gonna try sticking to your plasma TV.

There are a decent number of improvements (or wonders, as i’d like to call them) made to 3D TVs in 2012 that i never knew of. (Btw, i got this list of info off LG’s CINEMA 3D Smart TVs press release.)

3D Depth Control
A new 3D visual technology that lets you adjust the depth or distance between on-screen objects of the show you’re watching. So you can now adjust how much you’d like that tiger in the movie to leap out at you. Or in another show, perhaps a sexy lass crawling towards you.

Bye bye surround sound. Hello 3D sound!
This is quite interesting. Using an algorithm that tracks the location and movement of on-screen objects, 3D Sound Zooming generates 3D sound that’s synchronized with the images. Forget surround sound… have you 3D sound?!

For Gamers – Dual Play
The special Dual Play function and glasses lets gamers enjoy dual-play games on CINEMA 3D Smart TV without having to split the screen.

Converting all existing 2D to 3D
I used to think that 3D TV would be pointless cos you can only watch movies and shows that are available in 3D. Well. Now there’s a conversion engine that converts all existing 2D movies/shows into 3D. AND. You also get a huge variety of 3D content on the CINEMA 3D Smart TV eco-system.

Smart TV eco-system – 3D World
This is a next generation premium 3D content service by LG that offers high quality 3D content across numerous subjects like entertainment, sports, documentaries, kids, lifestyle, travel, fashion, etc. Already launched in nearly 70 countries, 3D World and LG plan to collaborate further with global 3D content providers so there’ll be more added to the already expansive list.

The Magic Remote
Because 3D World is so comprehensive, LG has ensured that its Smart TV eco-system remains easy to use with The Magic Remote. Using voice control, we can simply speak our commands. No more fiddling with buttons!

As i mentioned earlier, all these new features listed are by LG. Their line of CINEMA 3D Smart TVs have completely upgraded themselves with new 3D technologies that’s immersive and extensive, yet EASY-to-use.

Last year, LG’s CINEMA 3D TVs got rave reviews for their 3D display qualities. This year, LG has stepped up their game up by upgrading to CINEMA SCREEN Design. Promising better product design for optimal 3D viewing, LG has reduced the width of the TV’s border to almost zero bezel so you get an experience that’s close to an actual cinema.

Additionally, 3D glasses are now battery-free and lightweight (20% lighter than previous models) for more comfort and TV time.

LG CINEMA 3D Technology promises more engaging, comfortable, and limitless 3D viewing experience with wider 3D content selections, premium content services and over 1,200 Smart TV apps.
