A bunch of friends and i went to the House of Häagen-Dazs event last week. We were supposed to meet up at the KL Convention Centre entrance where a van would taxi us to the event’s “secret location”. Getting 6 people to meet at the same time during traffic hour in KL is near impossible… so the first few who arrived sat in Chinoz having drinks while awaiting the poor others who were stuck in the jam!
When we finally had the whole group together, i’m sure half of us were already tipsy :p We arrived at the secret location which turned out to be Maison Francaise on Jalan Changkat Kia Peng. I’ve never been there before so even better.
The entire establishment was done up real nice to be the “House of Häagen-Dazs” where the ice cream brand titillated our sense of touch, smell, taste, sight and sound. Everything put together was based on its philosophy of superior craftsmanship, innovation and attention to detail that has been the core of Häagen-Dazs since 1961.
A team of mixologists made us all these gorgeous-looking bespoke ice cream cocktails that tasted as pretty as they look! There were different cocktails to represent different moods i.e. Irresistible, Sensual, Indulgent, Sensational, Captivating and Desirable.
I later discovered that the drinks were created to introduce to us the new ‘Secret Sensations in a Pint’ range which is a combination of creamy ice cream with hidden pockets of sauce. Thanks to those cocktails… i feel like trying one of those new pints now just to see if it can recreate the yumminess that was in my mouth that night!

So pretty! I lost count of how many i drank that night… it was like drinking dessert! With a bit of my favourite ingredient included 😉
