I was in 1 Utama to drop by the Pringles booth and get some baby shower stuff one Saturday,
when i saw something that was so awesome, i’ve been telling all my friends about it!
Pringles set up a giant bowling game for everyone to participate,
and if anyone managed to knock down one pin, they’d get a free Pringles.
I saw two guys in wheelchairs queueing up for the game,
and thought, “How great! I hope they get their Pringles!”
Everyone was cheering extra loud when they went up, and it was so endearing to watch.
Sometimes we forget about how lucky we are to have all our limbs and to see and hear…
imagine how much more difficult life must be if you’re missing something everyone else has!?
Bowling a giant ball wasn’t easy tho (i tried it too),
and when the second guy couldn’t get any pins knocked down,
the Pringles mascot snuck up next to the giant pins, KICKED one down and ran away!
Everyone was laughing and so happy the guy got his free Pringles!
AWWWW!!!
What an awesome mascot! Good job you!!!
When i first arrived at the Pringles booth, they were having a break from giving out free Pringles
cos response was overwhelming and the team needed a rest, so i was told.
Even without the games going on, kids were still having fun playing with the pins and taking pictures.
When the bowling commenced, all the little kiddies were so excited to try it out.
Big ball and wee arms, haha!
But the children really couldn’t get a single pin down, cos the ball is quite big and heavy!
I overhead a young dad asking, “Can adults play?” and the Pringles girl said ‘yes’.
So suddenly all the parents were like MOVE ASIDE KIDS, LET MUMMY AND DADDY PLAY!
It was so funny!
All the children who couldn’t get Pringles before had to then wait for their parents to take their turn.
When winning Pringles for your son, make him hold your handbag hahaha.
I noticed how quickly the queue was getting longer,
and i was lucky to have Wendy line up for me so i could try too!
I have no child to make hold my bag, so i placed it on the floor…
Mr. P! Why are you not watching my performance!
In the end i got ONE pin down… it’s not as easy as i thought!
If this piece of information helps redeem my lack of strength – i have never bowled in my life! >.<
Or maybe that’s gonna demean my reputation. I told Wendy and she was like, “You’ve never bowled before?!?”
:p
Well now i can say i *have* bowled… giant bowling. Haha.
When anyone managed to get all the pins down,
a surprise flash mob of dancers appeared to dance for the crowd!
I thought they danced pretty well and were so smiley and good-natured all the time,
you could tell they loved being dancers!
To dance and throw Pringles cans in SYNC? Come onnnn that’s pretty good!
I took a vid of one of the dances (they had a few routines).
The guy in front of me was spinning so fast i felt WIND on my face.
I left in the middle of it, anyway, i think i took up enough space in the front watching it!
The crowd was just increasing in size all afternoon!
