Some of the outfits i’ve been throwing on myself this month. I’m not working full-time anymore (forward to fashion adventures!) but i still freelance as a media strategist/storyteller when the occasion arises. Below was one of those occasion. Had a pitch that day so had to wear all black:

My ‘HUH?!’ face
black crop top; leftblock (we’re tryna revive it so wish us luck!)
harem pants; sevendays
necklace & studded flats; topshop
oversized mesh shirt; SEETHROUGH

This was the day after the H&M party. So i was really hungover. And i must have still been drunk when i threw on these clothes. Went to Fat Spoon to get me some of my fave hungover food – FAT SPOON NOODLES.
fuchsia hat; hnm shanghai
shorts; azorias
top; thrifted
bucket bag; bimba & lola
shoes; cole haan lunargrand

Thanks to Melium for these cool Cole Haan kicks before they’re launched 😉

It was a really hot Saturday. My hair was all over the place and considered too long in my opinion. I just got it redone so it’s nice and SHORT with a red wave underneath now. Phew.
singlet; topman
striped tights; uniqlo

Went for Thai dinner with my parents & Clem.
top & skirt; bangkok
shoes; topshop

Thanks to Topshop for these flats too. I’m lucky i knowwwwww

Went out to the bar to meet Aps for drinks. She’s my drinking kaki. But i think we’re trying to cut down our alcohol intake so we might become… dinner buddies. We’ll see. I might have to take my words back.
top; azorias
necklace; from some remote village in Myanmar
bag; lv

Oh, there’s this story about this LV bag… i’ve been carrying smaller clutches of late so i can slip it next to my driver’s seat instead of leaving it on the passenger seat and inviting trouble i.e. thieves. Usually i carry this black studded one. But i *found* this LV bag that i bought years ago when i was in Italy with my family. I’ve never used it. Ever. I don’t know. I think after i got it, i entered this whole anti-monogram phase. And i actually EXPLAINED to Aps why i was carrying such a bag that night. She said, “I can’t believe you’re apologizing for carrying an LV.” And i was like, “I know, but it goes against everything i believe in!” :p So there. I thought of splashing some paint on it to make it more ‘me’ but i i never got to it.

Happy Sunday where we went for Fierce Curry briyani! It was the first weekend in ages i had time to spend with Clem and our friends instead of working working working. So i took FULL opportunity of it and tanned, swam and drank cocktails with Kenny & Cammy.
sunnies; henry holland x le specs
toucan headband; bangkok
swimsuit; topshop

Blur picture but what the hell.
Happened to stumble upon the new OPI colours from their James Bond collection.
I’ve got The Living Daylights on over The World Is Not Enough.
It’s so awesomely sparkly… it makes me feel better when i’m not feeling so great and happen to glance at it.

I gots myself a phone cover and necklace from Echo & Keera

My bathroom mouse i adopted from Rome.

Flats from Tory Burch. Clutch from Brisbane.
And a slightly more classic dress from Doublewoot.

The Dayna Tuxedo Blazer to feed my inner James Bond obsession (actually not really James Bond per se, a random spy agent from any of the following agencies will do; MI-6, CIA, ASIO I’m not really picky).

I love this piece! Modest enough (with added pop of cheerful colour) for a day at work and dressy enough for after work drinks or part-ayyy!! =)

    Hi Joyce,

I love love love doublewoot. I think I bought at least 10 dresses from them already. I have always been very updated with the posts but recently I have missed out Sarina Sheathdress in(Black)I can’t believe it is already out of stock!

Honestly I think its great because it is super versatile. The cutting and quality looks awesome. AND I can so imagine myself wearing it for both work and play! If I could I would buy it in purple as well 🙂
    It’s an obsession.

    I’ll go for the Sapphire Lace Skater Blue http://www.double-woot.com/p/2263/sapphire-lace-skater-black 😀 cause blue is the new black! I would love to own this gorgeous piece cause it’s classy and I love the vibrant electric blue, it can be worn to most occasions without feeling under dressed. Loving the tiny details of lace around the waist, adding a bit of sexy-ness without revealing much (;

  8. Nasuha says:

I am loving the assemble you wore to dinner with your parents. It’s relaxed, breezy and looks simple to pull off. The loose top makes it easier for you to enjoy dinner. I also love the frayed details of the top and how the bucket bag stiff curved lines contrasted the outfit perfectly. The studded flats completes the look with a slight edgy feel. Love it!

I have my eye on the Quilla Dress in black!

It channels classic times ala Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s but with a modern twist via the quarter sleeves, color-block details and low waist.

Perfect interpretation and adaptation of a classic look for the modern Audrey Hepburns in all of us!

My favourite piece is Jewel Beaded Toga (Turquoise)
    http://www.double-woot.com/p/934/jewel-beaded-toga-turquoise
because it is classy and the cut and design helps slims. It also functional as I can wear it to the office pairing it off with a jacket and a night out with the ladies.

  13. Melissa Leong says:

I love the Korse Slit Pencildress.

Being someone who works in the professional line in the corporate world, button up shirts tend to be so boring. I like how pencil dresses are chic, modern and yet formal looking.

With a little slit of sexiness, it screams “woman power!”

  14. Daphne says:

I need a fashion makeover!! The bright colours of Delinda in purple by Doublewoot is just screaming for my attention 😮

I just had a baby and my style sense has since dropped from chic to ‘post pregnancy body’ maternity wear! Its soo tragic! i am still in my maternity jeans and fugly tshirts..i miss the old ‘me’, i need bright colours and flirty dresses :’ ( . I need this Delinda dress to inspired me to get fit and in shape again…pretty pleaseee…

    Definitely Diorez Fishtail Maxi (Orange)
    http://www.double-woot.com/p/2320/diorez-fishtail-maxi-orange

The colour is outrageously bubbly. It screams “ME!!!” in a crazy. Load up with statement necklace and arm swag, compliment the outfit with a soft romantic hairdo but pucker up with a bold color lipstick, I’m so ready to make my red carpet appearances.

A girl can dream right, Joyce? It’s a must have piece from Double Woot 🙂

I have my eye on the Quilla Dress in Black (http://www.double-woot.com/p/2269/quilla-dress-black).

It channels classic times ala Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s but with a modern and contemporary take via the quarter sleeves, color-block details and dropped waist.

A perfect interpretation and adaptation of a classic and iconic look for the modern Audrey Hepburns in all of us!

  17. DWO says:

    Modesty is my best policy
But, the challenge to achieve that can be many
What I’m really going for is stylish simplicity
Elegant for school (I’m a teacher) and carefree enough for play
    Hence, http://www.double-woot.com/p/2065/dional-by-doublewoot-brown is fittingly me!

Been looking for a blue dress for my birthday (next Saturday! :D) and nothing gets more perfect than this shade of fun, flirty and stunning piece of blue love! I have been seeing many blue skater dresses but what makes completely different is the stitching at the upper body and the material!

I have my eyes glued on http://www.double-woot.com/p/2249/shoen-colorblock-blue

Recently, my lover boy has been lucky enough to get us a seat at Marini’s on 57. We’ll be celebrating our month-niversarry. I would like to dress to impress but it’s been a long time since I went shopping. Looking forward to the dinner with a perfect futuristic style dress!

  20. Sue Me says:

I like Abbey Duotone Flaredress (Beige) because being in the corporate industry, it is always black or white; adding a little orange color will definitely spruce up my days at work. Besides, colors will only make my clients happier to accept my proposals for businesses :)))

  21. PC says:

Simple but exquisitely divine , the beautiful white “Delise” caught her eyes instantly. Imagining herself wearing it for a Sunday afternoon tea, would she be able to meet her prince?

    The girl is me.

  22. Jacqueline says:

http://www.double-woot.com/p/2343/lexi-versatile-pants-grey I absolutely love this pants! The color is gorgeous and easily matches most of my shirts. Its definitely affordable and suits the budget for a student like me. =) The material is just too good for what we are paying and I think its definitely something basic that everyone should have.

  23. Christine says:

    http://www.double-woot.com/p/2158/daekin-by-doublewoot-green

This is definitely a timeless piece. It reveals the right amount of skin which doesn’t lose its class. The colours are perfect, the flare is gorgeous. This is so versatile that I know I can never go wrong in it for every occasion.

  24. Julia says:

    Definitely this black beauty: http://www.double-woot.com/p/2153/delise-by-doublewoot-black

What can go wrong in a classic black piece like this? Its classy and exudes an aura of sophistication. Coupled with simple colorful accessories and red pumps, one does not have to do much to make this outfit shine for its limelight. The simple cutting makes it demure but still gorgeous at the same time. I would really love to have this. Thanks =)

I guess I’m the only guy dropping a comment here, so far.

Before u get me wrong, I’m here to win it for my wife (Lily) in conjunction with her belated birthday (24th Sept).

I would like to very much see her in the Brown Delind dress that she currently has her eyes on. Of course, I could go and buy it for her but how often does one get a nice free dress from a nice little fairy? 😉

    So, thank you in advance.:)
