The inaugural Maybank Photography Awards is here! A collaborative effort between Maybank, Leica, Profoto and HP; the Maybank Photography Awards is an initiative to establish a gold standard for photographic excellence.
There are different Entry Categories, where one (1) winner will be selected for each category and two (2) for People’s Choice Award. Prizes include:
1x Personalized Leica X2 Set

1x Profoto D1 Studio Kit
1x HP Designjet Z2100 24
1 x Maybank Debit Card pre-loaded with RM 10,000,

The theme of the competition is “Being Human” and looks to showcase the very values that make us what we are, and who we are through the power of images. Images have the ability to spur on social development and cultural understanding, thus uniting us as a people.

The Maybank Photography Awards will run till 31st October 2012. All submissions received within this period will be shortlisted for final judging and public voting. It’s best to submit your entries early – cos if your submission gets shortlisted, you’ll have enough time to get your friends and family to vote for you and increase your chances in nabbing the People’s Choice Awards in said category!
