Le Midi Launch @ BSC

Comments (5) Events

I was incredibly late for the Le Midi launch
cos i had my French class till 8:30 (still being diligent for that!)
and dropped by the Thirst preview for an hour.

Le Midi is a new restaurant in BSC, across House + Co.
I can’t say anything about their food since i didn’t try any,
so i’ve linked some food bloggers who DO have something to say about it at the bottom of this post.

They’ve got jellyfish which are undeniably pretty as part of the wall’s deco,
and i couldn’t help feeling sorry for the jellyfish
even though i googled to make sure that they don’t have any feelingsย   :xsilly:

Cheese to accompany my wine made me stay even longer.
I’m a sucker for cheese.

Howdy, thanks for the link ๐Ÿ™‚ Le Midi is really a lovely place… the view is spectacular in the evenings… and one day when you do get a chance to try the food… it will blow you away. Very cool party “mood” photos.

  2. Wow, looks like a fun-filled night with an awesome headgear/prop-thingy. Be sure to head back for the food. Like Frat said, it’s good.

    And thanks for the link!

    Cheers

What a waste of our time at this no good restaurant.150 of us were charged RM 150 pp and we got was some lousy finger food, nothing as near as what she had promised us earlier ( most of us left early for some mamak food), empty glasses where we need to find the waitresses for refill, horrible sound system as the head waiyer doubles to be the sound man, not knowing exactly what he was doing.

What a waste of our time there, huge mistake this one…

Hi I just wanted to say I have eaten there and the place doesnt have it. I love dining and hence my size. I trained professionally in A Cullinary School in France but have stopped since returning with my husband and children. I must say Le Midi is a far cry from what its supposed to be. The service from the lady boss is so bad. She fought and was rude to my friend J at the car park.So when J got into the restaurant to meet me, she saw Melissa Groot and was shocked. She behaves like a gangster, where is she from?. I alway believe bad food and rude people dont mix.

She used to work as a receptionist at the (former) Regent Hotel KL and then moved on to Hong Kong where she met her first husband a local at the Regent Hong Kong.
