I realise i don’t really write stuff that happens to me anymore
So i’m trying to again,
cos that is what i STARTED this blog for -_-

Two days ago, as Clem and i were taking the lift,
i tried to make him grab my butt and feel it cos i think i’m putting on weight.
The whole time he was like what are you DOING
and i was like what’s WRONG with you just feel it and tell me i’m imagining it goddammit!

When the lift doors opened at the lobby,
i walked out to see… a man looking at a screen
which happened to show all the security cameras’ views.

I could see all three lifts in real time.
And of course the cameras HAD to be placed at the back of the lift so the man probably saw our little struggle.

I ran out of the lobby in embarrassed laughter and turned to Clem,
“Since WHEN did they have that screen in the lobby??”
“Since always.”

Sheesh.
How come i never noticed it in the 8 months i’ve been going in and outta that lobby.

+ + +

Yesterday morning my mum smsed me saying that a man tried to rob her outside our house.
He parked his car right in front of her as she got into her own car,
and jumped out to try to open her door with a weapon in his hand!
Thank God my mum has a habit of locking the door the moment she gets in…
She then pressed her horn till he ran off and the neighbours came outside to see what the fuss was.

I spent the whole day being pissed that we have to worry about our own safety outside the house.
And now she’s going to be scared every time she goes to work.

One of the worst things besides seeing your best friend cry,
is seeing your mum cry.

I was thinking whether i could buy her a pepper spray.
Or a taser.
But all those things can only be used in close contact.

I wish i could buy her a gun so she can shoot the fucker or any other if they try going near her again.
I really do.
I really wish i could buy her a gun cos we’re not even fucking safe in our own driveways.

She doesn’t even want to make a police report cos the last two times she did (for other incidences) she said they were “unhelpful and cocky”.
So how?
The police that we pay our taxes for don’t ronda enough to prevent this shit,
and we don’t even feel comfortable going to them in times of trouble?
Fucking rubbish.

Well now i got worked up about that again i don’t feel like writing about other things that have been happening cos they pale in comparison.

BlaHHH.

I feel your pain. Two days ago, a friend happened to be at a pub and 20 minutes later, he was on the road, dead. Three group of strangers had beaten him with steel rods and metal pipes which eventually caused his death.

Yes, we’re no longer safe anywhere here in Malaysia anymore.

perhaps you can convince your mom/family to relocate to a safer area? like somewhere in a guarded/gated community nearby? maybe even one of those apartment/condos with security.

it’s probably going to be expensive and all but for better security it’s worth it. i mean, if it’s already happened 3 times, whose to say it wouldn’t happen again right? hope your moms going to be okay ๐Ÿ™‚

Just a few days ago I was talking to my boyfriend about getting raped and all. And I said ‘Gosh. This is what I love about this country (NZ). Knowing that no one can pay off policemen to get off the hook if I was to go make a police report about being raped.’

And thought about how I cannot do that in Malaysia and became quite sad. Sigh.

Once we made a police report about the theft of our underwear and clothes – the policemen didn’t take us seriously and said it’s very common in the area?! And even jokingly suggested that one thing we can do it to invite the thief into our house if we happen to see him to buy some time before the pooliceman arrives…
