i know, a more enjoyable blogpost has good pictures
But i’m seriously tired right now
Just got back from having a few drinks at the pub
Which is what i reward myself with at the end of the workday
Someone mentioned i sound like an old woman
And at first i thought, “MAN.”
Then i thought, “Oh well. Whatever.”
In blabberings = UOX on Saturday was a LONG day
But we raised a lot of money for WAO, for which i’m truly surprised and happy!
After we tutup kedai at UOX at 10 something, we drank and danced till 2
Well, i did anyway
Then i had to sober up before driving home
Got into bed at 5am
Woke up Sunday
Rushed stuff
Rushed to Palate for Chic Code event
By 7pm, two ppl who know me quite well said i look like i was going to drop dead
Went home, wrote some stuff
Forced myself to sleep by midnight
I say forced, because my body was exhausted but my mind was still running
Had so many things flowing through my mind,
I downed leftover cough mixture to pass out
Woke up this (Monday) morn
Took a long shower
Bought breakfast (yong tau foo! yay!)
Went to work
Work work work
Finished (well, to the point i’m done for the day) at 10:30pm
SarChan wanted me to wait for her
I waited a bit
Then we decided to leave cos office seems a bit scary with just two girls and i voiced out we should have a knife or gun :p
Stupid office knob spoilt (it’s getting fixed tomorrow)
And we had a grand time devising ways to shut the door
I tripped over a brick in the dark, and bloody Sarah guffawed at me
She wouldn’t let me close the main door in the dark
And we fiddled with the stupid thing for AGES
Because once it locks it won’t be able to open till the key gets to it
The problem is… LOCKING it
There is a small hole in the damn mechanism of the doorknob (once the knob has dropped out)
So we were looking for string/ribbon/wire/anything that could fit through it to pull it close
In the end, i found the straps of a Calvin Klein dress Jia Wei donated for Chic Charity
It had the right fabric/size of strap to fit through the tiny hole
So we used a CK dress to shut the STUPID office door close.
There. End of work day.
THEN i could go enjoy my drinks with CopenhagenChris (+ Joleyn + Hatim + HenryIsGold + AnnaRina + Ninie) and go home.
I happen to think that your post(or day) was rather eventful despite the fact that there were no pictures.
sometimes no-pic posts also seem a bit more intellectual hur hur. not that im saying posts with lotsa pics are bimbotic nooooo wtf.
