Because right, they call me at 1pm on a Monday, asking me to go out to drink
They call at 4pm Tuesday, saying they’re in my area, hey let’s go drink
I call them at 2pm asking about something for work, and they ask me to go out to drink

Regardless whether it’s with me or not (more than anything, it’s not), they still drink anyway

Sometimes i hang out with them at night cos it’s nice to hear real different talk
Nothing regarding media or advertising

They talk finance
scandals happening in the finance industry in KL
nothing and nobody i know about
sometimes they use abbreviations i don’t know the meanings of and i ask, to learn
how the Polish are in financial crisis
and how 400,00 Americans are homeless
how Australia is doing really bad too

To which i’d listen in interest cos hey, i have no clue what they’re talking about and it’s sounds so worldly and exciting (haha *jakun*)

But seriously -_-

We get paid about the same, but they work less hours and drink more

After the bankers left, i sat with CheeKit and Looney to talk rubbish
I’ve known them for at least 6 years, and blabbered easily to them
An hour later, CheeKit spoke up – “You sound like YC. Jaded.”

I exclaimed back with much retaliation, “I’m not JADED!”

Cos no matter how innocent YC and me are, ridiculous rumours always get spread.

I retorted that with the amount of time i spend working and the remainder (besides for sleep) spent on seeing friends and drinking, i only WISH i had time to do “disreputable” things.

I SUPER RETALIATE THAT I’M JADED!

Then Looney went, “Maybe it’s successful women, they always get jaded.”
to which CheeKit nodded in agreement.
