Had lunch at Michaelangelo’s at Pavilion last week
Just found out they’ve got this pretty wicked set lunch deal
RM30-something for a:
starter of salad/soup, main of pasta/pizza, dessert of creme brulee/tiramisu, and coffee/soda/beer

I bet i’m missing some choices out but can’t remember

I had beer as my choice of drink.
Obviously.

I look like Annie for a bit.

Wee Tee and Kim of La Mer kindly invited me + a guest for their event at Space in Bangsar.
My reply to them was: I love La Mer! Of course i’ll go!

Went for KrazyKatKyan’s new club opening at Asian Heritage Row after that, called Club 9 & the SIX Lounge.
Damn long la the name.
I was googling ‘club 9 and lounge 6’ and got it wrong :p

Two floors + 3 poles in front of a huge mirror…
Did you put it there for guys you want to see dancing…

I felt i wanted to rest, yet wanted to get fresh air and sun
So i convinced AshleyTheMonkey, RowdyRudy and co. that going for a picnic would be a grand idea!

Nothing involving too much effort,
Just wanted to listen to music
Enjoy each other’s company
Drink beer
Lie on a blanket
Look at the sky
Read a book
Play with my hula hoop
Relax
Simple kinda fun, y’know?

Since i was Picnic Initiator, i had to call and wake everyone up (which was quite tough!!!)

Packed blanket,
picnic basket from D’lish event last time,
charged iPod,
extra batts for iPod speakers (that actually belong to Rudy which i conveniently ‘borrowed’ for months on end),
spinner,
Circle of Peace

Wore weekend dress,
colourful headband,
happy necklaces

All ready in happy picnic attire!

Went to meet everyone in Tesco to buy food…

Then it started to rain.

Actually, more like storm.

All of us staring forlornly at the rain.
FaiTheMai still can maintain macho and fold arms.

In order not to waste the day (plus the effort of waking up early on weekend -_-)
We went to La Bodega in Bangsar

I’m totally addicted to the king prawns in olive oil and garlic now…
Dipping bread in it is DIVINE.

And if that wasn’t enough, i poured all the oil and garlic unto my salad

Rahul macam uncle here + DarlingDhanya just came from a shoot

I went to Bombshell/Show Pink to see whether Ming was free to do my eyebrows
And managed to convince RowdyRudy that he should do the same ‘to open up your face’!

I didn’t know Ming did guys’ eyebrows too
So hard to find a place that does men’s
Going to drag my brother there to do his

Oh come on
If you guys can wash your face with cleanser, make sure you don’t have blackheads, and/or dress metrosexual half the time, what’s to stop you from doing your eyebrows?
