“Hey, are you going for this?” asked Brian at Urbanscapes the other day, pointing at a Zouk flyer Blink had passed me.
On one side was a blast of fluorescent graphics – shouting a party in Mainroom on 12th July featuring Sh1tdisco VS Lapsap.

On the other side was the logo for upcoming MTV Asia Awards (that’s happening on 2nd August in Genting, just in case you’re really left behind).

“Oh that… actually, i am ”
“Oh my god! Can you bring someone? Can you bring me?!”
“… Er… i think i can only bring… myself.”

Fellow cannot let go. Even as he was leaving he could gesture from far away, pointing at himself frantically grinning, “Me! Me!”

Anyhoo, i know besides artistes, guests and media (and random bloggers), tickets to the awards are not for sale.

How one can obtain them is by winning them in contests that are being run by the awards’ official media partners like Hitz.Fm, MY FM, Nuyou and Seventeen.

Or you could show up at Zouk (KL) on the 19th for the MTV Asia Awards Mosh Pit Audition from 6-8 pm (doors close at 8 sharp!) and prove you’re CRAZY, WILD, and LOUD. The most passionate music fan will gain access to the red carpet and attend the awards show.

The MTV VJs will be there as following the Mosh Pit Audition, the Voting Party will begin from 9pm onwards with local acts performing.

“Whoa, imagine if you were in the mosh pit,” i said to SarChan (who’s also going).
“Yeah, but i heard it’s damn crazy in there.”

With that in mind, i thought better not, i’m so small i’d get trampled on.
And die.
At the MTV Asia Awards.

I was all hyper about seeing the Chem Brothers, “You know what, i’m SO EXCITED about seeing the Chemical Brothers! Argh! EEK!”
Colleague: “Eh… it’s not confirmed yet, don’t go around telling people i told you they were coming..!”
“… *thinks*… but you didn’t tell me they were coming. Someone else did.”
“Oh phew.”
“Wait. DID YOU SAY IT’S NOT CONFIRMED?!”

Goddammit. I’m so over going out there to catch intl DJs nowadays.
But for the Chem Brothers… i would bloody take leave and hop country man.
