I Have A New Cert
I still can’t find my SPM cert (not that i seem to need it at all)
And instead have slowly collected a pile of certificates related to more fun things!
For climbing Mt. Kinabalu in 2004
For bartending from Martell
For life drawing in London
And the latest addition – Defense Driving.
Disclaimer: Defense Driving does not = to Improvement in Spatial Awareness
Company sent us for the course in Shah Alam
I followed TylerTheFairysitter from behind (of course, ‘cos i don’t know the way.)
They work us hard.
So hard that we take forty winks any second we can get.
After watching very disturbing accident videos and pictures at the tutorial, we were all to convoy to the track, where we’d have our practical
20 plus cars of only two models.
No problemo.
I can easily spot and follow any of them them fine on the highway.
So off we went.
A traffic light broke our neat procession.
Right at the front of the traffic light was… me.

I gazed at all the cars zooming off into I-Don’t-Know-Where-We’re-Going in slight panic.
Shit. Shit shit shit. Are all the cars gonna follow me now?
But i don’t know the way!!!
Through the rearview mirror, i could see the line of company cars behind me.
Die.
So i called Tyler.
Faithful ol’ Tyler.
He gave me directions.
I followed them.
And missed the turning while on the phone with him.
“I’m supposed to turn left, right?”
“Yeah i should be able to see you soon… oh shit you just missed it!”
I whipped my head to the side to see the small turning on the left.
And we both started cracking up on the phone cos, hey, Joyce just missed the turning, and everyone was following merrily behind her.
Fantastic.
After leading them further up before doing a U-turn, we managed to all park at the track.
“Eh, who was leading the way la?”
“What the fuck, went one round.”
“Not me!”
“It wasn’t me!”
I walked up towards my team.
They all stared at me.
“Should have known it was you!”
“If i knew it was Joyce leading i wouldn’t follow!!”
“SORRY!!!”

She helped me do my claims yesterday
They spread oil and water on the track for us to swerve + spin on before trying to regain control of the car
My car overheated and i called Lam to tell him
“Guess what happened to my car!” i blared in distress
“… Don’t tell me you crashed it…”
“No la, the engine is overheating -_- “
“Phew.”
[…] Might i add, that it was a company car so i was very lucky to be able to use it! I even got my Defensive Driver’s Cert with that […]
