Hmm i haven’t done this linking thing for ages

Exactly a year ago, i didn’t blog my birthday pictures and i had piles of clothes everywhere in my room
That hasn’t changed.
Also, i was then living with a boyfriend, TL was single, i didn’t have a driver’s license, and i didn’t know my counter stats properly.
All that has changed.

I guess i did grow up somewhat. I don’t emo over insignificant things anymore.

Panic

I understand how it can happen. That i’ll get so carried away with lack of sleep and continuous work and endless partying. Thinking that i’ll be young forever. I’m in denial. That i can look soddof like a kid forever.

Then QueenKanch’s words pop into mind –  “Prevention is better then cure.”

Of course, she’s referring to lines and wrinkles whereas i’m putting it into overall perspective – internal and health risks (my liver might be half gone by now, hence liver supplements. I’m taking them!)

I never guessed i would miss driving
Even though it was only short of a week.
Took a taxi to C&C, drove my car back all mighty zippy and happy i would say!

I toyed with the idea of taking my laptop with me to Langkawi… cos i have quite a number of articles to wrap up by the time work resumes on Thursday

But the idea is ridiculous la
I really doubt i’ll be in the right frame of mind and mood to write
And it’ll only be three days… you can go three days without doing any work Joyce *tells self off*
Even on all my ‘so-called’ off days, i still manage in a shoot, or write, or edit pictures till my eyes go damn pei from staring to discern whether it might be a tad too yellow/blue/red

I know i can’t without writing crap at the very least so I’ll be sure to bring along my Moleskine and pen.
Then i’ll come back and finish up EVERYTHING by Thurs (god i hope so)

Leaving for the airport in two hours
I haven’t packed yet (as usual)
Don’t see how it’d take long – just bikinis, dresses and sunblock.

I just found out through an sms my flight (AK6300) to Langkawi has been delayed
Leaving at 8:05pm instead

The occurrence of me going away this weekend is tempting me to take off again next weekend, but in a way i never have before
I hope i have the time, then i’ll do my disappearing act
