Is This Normal?

I thought it was just a passing thing cos when i was drinking last night
Everytime i swallow, the left side of my throat would hurt slightly
But you know how it is, alcohol makes you push things away and figure you’re invincible

Then today, everytime i swallow, yet again the left side hurts… and this time the pain spreads lightly to my left ear

This. Is. Not. Good.

I think i’ll be skipping the event today… i don’t have time 🙁
And the movie as well 🙁

There are a couple of guys in today to install some stuff in the kitchen and bathroom
To avoid absolute shame, i tidied the apartment up a bit
Just a bit
Really quickly
And not very willingly too, i might add

I kept on grumbling inwardly,

“I’m not your personal cleaner and maid!!!”

Friday Uh Huh

I realise my blog this entire week is so much bitching and complaining and drama
All because of work
I’m just counting down to my break next week

“You have to learn how to say ‘no’, Joyce,” said an editor to me last month in regard to turning work down
“I know, i know, i ammmm!”

I *have* been turning work down
But then i don’t know why, i zone out sometimes when people call me up to work
The money draws me and i end up saying yes -_-

I SWORE i wouldn’t work the few days before my holiday next week
I say ‘swore’ *past tense* cos… suddenly i have two batches of photos and two articles before my holiday

That’s not even talking about what i have to do today… or tomorrow…

I woke up this morning sighing and restless in bed
“I feel like dying,” i dramatically told the boyfriend
“It’ll be okay poon.”
“I still feel like dying.”

Last night i went to have a few drinks at Laundry
A couple of beers, a couple of wines
There was this band called Madison Flint performing
Have no freaking clue who they are
All these girl groupies were trying to talk to them
I think cos they’re kwailo

Just because they’re kwailo doesn’t mean they’re better you know

…

Aiyo you see
The way i’m writing now
All short sentences, getting bitchier and bitchier

Time to work
