ANYWAY

We went for a family dinner some time back at one of the seafood places in Klang
And while waiting for the food to come, we walked around the aquariums that held the soon-to-be-eaten creatures as if it were a zoo

It’s just habit from young

This must’ve looked too much like a person, hence still alive and left staring at us

Reminds me of a tick…

Smellie came along for that dinner
He was rather angelic and wolfed down most of the Chinese food he usually pushes away (to me)
But the white boy side came out when he shamelessly poured a saucer of soy sauce all over his rice before having food ladled unto it
Daddy stared at him rather amusedly
I just went like this: , cos seriously, who the fuck pours soy sauce all over nice hot white steaming rice?

Confirmed not chinese yo.

Then when all my cousin sisters’ other halfs graciously peeled crabs and prawns for them
I had to peel for *him* while i got pitiful looks from my princess-ey cousins
How can you not peel for your girlfriend at *her* family dinner?

My Chinese Side A-Peeking

Last Sunday night, i cooked Maggi Curry cos i’d been craving it for some time
Placing it on the table in front of the telly, i remembered i wanted some cold water
As i walked away, i noticed the chopsticks left standing in the maggi

Thanks to superstitions, my Aunt’s voice from long ago rang in my head
“Oi! Don’t leave your chopsticks in the bowl like that! Means that it’s for the ghost to eat. For all you know, there’s a man bending over your bowl right now, eating it!”
Whereupon we’d hurriedly snatch the chopsticks out and place them properly across the bowl

So i stared at the chopsticks
I was already halfway to the kitchen

Shit… my chopsticks not put properly… should i walk back… Tiu! It’s Hungry Ghost Festival somemore aieeeeeee!!….

So i walked back all the way back (like damn far la you know) and placed it properly before getting my cold water

Insomnia + Funny Dreams

Been suffering from horrible bouts of insomnia
Paired with bizzare-like-fuck dreams recently

Last night i dreamt that i was swimming in a deep pool
And the deeper i made myself sink to the bottom
The higher i would fly out
Then i’d have to agak so that i would drop back into the pool and continue doing the same thing

I’ve dreamt this before, so i knew how to swim the ‘right’ 0_o way and how to stop

But for the first time, i dreamt i flew too high and out into space

I remember thinking, “OH SHIT i’m going to DIE”
Then Stitch came along in an orange spacecraft and took me back to earth

I returned fine, a bit shaken up
Then as i was in the bathroom, i saw Aishah there curling her hair
