So I Went For My First Protest

Actually i figure i kinda got conned into it
After reading Lainie’s plight with typography, i emailed her to ask whether she wanted to borrow my bloody good typo books from college which is wasting away on my shelf now and better use to some student… like her.

In brief, it went along the lines of
“Eh you want to borrow my typo book?”
“Mauuuuuu!”
“K when to pass to you?”
“Come for the protest on Thursday!”

Eh. What happened. I was just supposed to pass her a typo book… got dragged along to a protest pulak.

So i thought about it and as usual had my imaginary conversation –

Allah lazy la. Have to get up 7 something in the morning somemore, walau

So… might as well pass it to her AND go for the protest right?

So what, like as if you’ve gone for one before. Should just go for a good first-hand experience

So i planned my AlreadyWonkySchedule and timed that if i did work all day Wednesday, i’d see AdamPoserPan at midnight. Then he’d potter off to work at 5:30 am, i’d get up at 7:15 am, go for the protest, go to KLCC, he’ll go home at noon, i’ll go home at 3 pm, pass out with him till 8 pm. He goes off to work again then i write at night till tomorrow.

Settled.

….

Heh i actually wrote about today’s happenings already
But i’m not going to post it up yet
Because when i do, my friends read it
Then when we meet up, i have nothing to reenact to them cos they all go, “Oh, i read about it on your blog already.”
