Burn Baby Burn
A harrowing Friday night was encountered
Words cannot describe how utterly relieved all of us are
AdamPeterPan and i flew off on Sat noon to Labuan
He fell asleep before the plane even took off!
Naturally, i brought a pony along
Two in fact π
We were a bit late for the christening of the boat but it was alright
After the 2 and a half hour flight, i stepped out of the airport into…
HEAT.
It was pretty darn hot.
First drink i requested during lunch was cold beer
*sighs in relief*
I’m not putting all the photos up
Oh-so-many
And as you can see, i’m kinda lazy to storytell now
Oh-so-itchy
I got many wonderful marks on my back due to visits from Mr. Sandfly and Co.
Adam got an allergy, the poor thing :p
And we both got horribly sunburnt
We spent all of Sunday sailing from morning till evening
Trust me,
Bopping boat
Soothing waves
Cold beer
Nice yummy lunch from the local market
Hot sun…
Confirmed passed out.
There isn’t really a beach to hang out in at Labuan
It’s all deep water where the ships dock
So what we did was sail to a nice little island which took about 2 hours
Okay
I really cannot tahan already
I’m off to slather aloe vera gel on Adam’s back and vice versa
Really la, i usually get blackish in the sun
But for the first time, i got sunburnt
“Hah. Serves you right, go sunbathe like a kwailo somemore,” my dad quipped
“Sunbathe!? I didn’t sunbathe! I put damn alotta sunblock somemore!”
I *did* however, accidentally fall asleep in the sun
Resulting with a nice stupid dark ‘V’ on my chest

i’m planning a trip to the beach with my boy, but a sailing trip to add would be really wonderful. even the sunburn seems inviting at this point. : ) if you don’t mind, could you pass the contact details so that i can make further arrangements?

The best thing about Labuan is their duty free goodies, namely booze, cigs and liqors!! I buy them by the crates!
