So I Turned Eight In Grace

So finally a proper tale of my 22nd Birthday celebration
The day that was my birthday  was spent mostly at home
The day after  i wasn’t very long-winded at all

I finally understand why AshleyTheMonkey  was going bonkers when i called her on my mobile to tell her that i’d prollie be late for my small dinner party

“Eh. The cabs are being a REAL BITCH today okay. I called the cab like an hour ago, they told me they’d come in 15 minutes, they didn’t, i called again, no choice la, waiting… i think i’ll be late for the dinner a bit since i’m going to work late”
“WHAT?! It’s SEVEN! Can’t you noT go?”
“WhAT?! Not go to work? You crazy ar. Who will do it la then.”
“Ask someone else to replace you la!”
“So last minute cannot la…”
“Why must the review be today? Why cannot tomorrow?”

I can’t remember what i answered her but i knew that i had to go
Not only was the cab late, but the driver was being a real prick as well

“KL Hilton… Sentral ya?”
“Ya ya”
*15 minutes later and the turning to KL Sentral flashing past us*
“Eh… where are you going? You missed the turning!”
“I know what i’m doing okay, you just relax!”

Okay fine
I have horrible direction sense

I come out of a bathroom in Sungai Wang even and boom i’m lost
I direct someone to The Curve and i miss the turnoff
So i decided to shut up and trust the stupid prick

2 minutes later i KNEW FOR SURE he was going the WRONG WAY

“You’re going the wrong way, really, Kl Hilton is BACK tHERE!” *points frantically at back*
“This is the right way okay. If you don’t like the way i drive you can get out.”
Fucker.
“You’re going to KL City! Kl Hilton is at Sentral Station which is BACK THERE!!!”
“Oh. Kl Sentral is it. Why you tak cakap?”

FUCKERRRRR I said it already TWICE upon getting into the cab

Anyway work was alright bla bla bla
FoxyLisa came to pick me up from the hotel entrance after

We were supposed to pick MafiaMary up and rush to meet the others for dinner at Italiannis
We were late
Very late
The others were all already there (or so i thought)

“Hey come down, we’re almost there.”
“I don’t know what to wear!”
“WHat?! We’re late! Just throw something on!”
“I really dunno what to wear! Can you come up please? Just help me pick something out real quick!”
“Mary. We’re LATE. Ash they all have been waiting for half an hour! We don’t have time!”
“It’ll be really quick… pleaseeee… Pleaseeeeeeee…”
“omg la. Must you do this today?!”
“PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”
” ……. “

FoxyLisa and i took the lift up to her apartment
I complained that MafiaMary was being a real brat with timing
The lift doors slid open unnoticed by me
I was still stoning
Then i realised…
Isn’t that Ash and Dave…. 0_o
My reaction was damn slow
Hmm yes that looks like them wait they shouldn’t be here…
I still stared at them as the lift doors slid close
FoxyLisa was like, “Oi!” and held out a limb to keep them open

I stepped out gingerly

To absorb a whole line of close friends beaming back at me

I can’t comprehend why i was SO BLUR then
I kept on gasping when i saw different faces
The word ‘Surprise!’ was a few seconds slow but smiles were all around
Apparently everyone had been waiting for quite long!
I hugged everyone and couldn’t fucking believe i had had another surprise party  thrown for me

Totally didn’t expect or guess for fairies!
Prollie due to the fact i was so busy with work the whole week and didn’t notice anything!

“Are you shocked? Were you surprised?”
“Yeaaa!”
“I would have thought you would be better at guessing after doing this two years in a row!”
“Erm… no…. bwek!”

The BBQ-ed chicken and lamb was awesome… thanks to PassedOutBen
& LaughingLoga – who surprised me by taking an early flight back *hugs*
I wish i could eat more but was running around talking instead

According to Mary and Ash, POB and him were having this War Of Manliness on who could get the whole BBQ going

Wow…i just noticed, the size of his eyes are TWICE of mine, and he’s a tad further away from the cam too! *phwoar*

Then MafiaMary carried out the ice-cream cake with many colourful bits on it!

The kick-ass thing is they LAYANED my I-Am-Seven-Turning-Eight Delusion
and put eight candles on my cake!
How AWESOME is that!!!

They made me change into my bikini top and mafia jeans before throwing me into the pool
How did they get my bikini top there beforehand?
MafiaMary said she wanted to borrow them for something
All these con jobs i tell you…. heh

Ash told me this conversation Mary and her had a few days before
“Oh shit. I told Joyce i wanted to borrow her bikini for something on Monday.”
“So?”
“It’s Tuesday and i haven’t taken it from her yet!”
“Haiya just tell her a different story, she won’t remember wan i tell you.”

I dilly-dallyed and tried avoiding the whole hooha
But Edwin chucked me in in the end

We did a quick clean-up after that to pop by Ghetto’s 1st Anniversary Party
