‘What’s the Point’ Day

Everyone thinks i’m in a bad mood cos i used that *points up* as my msn nick today.
Really, i’m not
I’m in one of my kick-happy moods

But really

I went to trim my hair at a salon near my house
What’s the point
of putting three layers of cloth around my neck
making me all hot and bothered
and damn frikkin alot of hair gets all over my neck and down my back
to the point i had to take another shower when i got home
ish

After my haircut, i walked to a taxi stand just outside
What’s the point
of having a taxi stand
when there are two empty parked cabs there…

I rushed home cos the weather was all mighty bright and fine
Perfect!
for hanging out the laundry, thought i
What’s the point of that
when the moment the last piece of washed clothing
is hanging satisfyingly on a hanger
and the sun disappears
and suddenly it’s cloudy

So fine
I go online to edit my work to hand up
and chat to friends like Ryan
What’s the point
of telling me the beginning of the story
when you don’t intend to finish it
