I watched Donnie Darko before years ago.
Got half of the story and didn’t bother rethinking the rest.

I watched it again just now.
And thought James did a nice write-up on it on his site.
I actually get the whole story now. Bwek*

Surveyed the contents of his wine bottle… and said loudly to himself,
